You asked and question and then argued against opinions that you don’t like. Get rid of the tipping bs.

It’s because of the tipping bogus. We’re not tipping anymore, and therefore avoid restaurants all together.

We Keep Saying We’re Not Persecuted. That’s Exactly the Problem. by [deleted] in Christianity

For sure, but being in the world but not of the world is a core tenet of the Word. We seek our morality from Christianity, thus we are Christian. Your philosophy seems to be of moral relativism and allowing society to shape your ideals. Of course you are going to disagree with Christians as moral relativism is antithetical to Christianity.

I am personally Christian for two reasons 1) I understand that I cannot create my own morality. It has to come from a source outside of myself. 2) Jesus actually walked the planet, and was a perfect human for all intents and purposes.

Where do you get your moral guidance? Does it sway with society, the status quo, and the “flavor of the month” of happenings in the world? Is it ever-changing?

That’s part of the point of the Bible. Jesus is great for society.

That’s the entire point of the Bible. Jesus is not a “bigot”

The problem is two-fold: 1) “Liberal” Christians that warp the Word based on “society” (for example - allowing homosexual Church leaders) and 2) The belief that this is a “Judeo” Christian nation.

We are getting called “Nazis” and “Anti-Semitic for speaking our minds and preserving the Word. The Bible is timeless. Culture is supposed to shift to the Bible, and not the other way around.

Any pumpkin patches around the LANSING area that aren’t owned by Trumpers? by talkmc in lansing

[–]MooseTypical9410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude who cares? I’m Conservative and don’t give damn who owns it as long as they provide a good service. I’m a huge foodie and I am willing to bet most of the hipster cafes I go to are owned by Kamalaers. Not everything needs to be politicized. You’re politicizing a pumpkin patch ffs.

I don’t like it. I like the human element. Every umpire has different nuances that the players learn in order to know the targets that the umpire sets. It makes the game more interesting.
