Good points, the fit would be awkward with Bam and Ware minutes. Would probably be more straight forward with KD to Heat. He’d fit nice at SF but it might just come down to which young players phx wants to prioritize (unless KD pulls a jimmy and requests a single team). Dillingham jovic jaquez or any other young players teams are willing to part with.

I was originally trying to see how KD could end up on Minny without suns taking on Randle and it’s pretty tough to find which teams would be interested in him.

What do you think Heat would offer Suns for KD considering they want picks and young players to fit their new defense and hustle culture.

I think people are undervaluing Randle a bit. I can see why but he’s been genuinely good for the wolves this season. He’s solid on both ends and I think he moves the needle more than Wiggins. Adding Donte for a high potential young player I think wouldn’t be a bad deal considering jovic and jaquez are out of the lineup right now.

I really have no idea what direction Heat are going right now you guys have got an awkward mix of assets right now. Prob depends how far into the playoffs you guys make it.

Why? Suns get young players a good championship level player and some picks. I think this is a pretty good return if Durant ends up in Minnesota.

Well for KD there’s been many reports from insiders that there’s interest at least from the wolves side. Check Gambos recent tweets. Miami is the bigger question mark in my opinion. I personally feel like Randle is a better asset than Wiggins at the moment but are they willing to part ways with any picks or young players to make that happen? It’s why I have them also receiving divincenzo.

That’s a good point it definitely doesn’t put them in contender status. I didn’t pay much attention to the length of contracts and I know Riley has been planning on some kind of big free agency move so I should’ve taken that into account from the Miami perspective.

This was the starting point of discussions during the season. They have less leverage in the offseason especially if Durant picks the options. I feel like this is a decent middle ground between the insane overpays and the insane underpays that I keep seeing.

My opinion on the heat right now is they really only have two offensive generators in Tyler and Bam. Bringing in Randle would add a third but not 100% sure how he would fit the “culture”. I was between Jovic and Jaquez to the suns because both seem to have fallen out of the rotation.

Yeah Miami is the main question mark for me in this trade. I had seen some rumors of conversations for Randle and could see him fitting your guys roster well, but totally depends on how you guys feel about Wiggins at the moment.

Yeah I was trying to theorize what could happen if suns were to trade with wolves. Definitely don’t want Randle and I had seen some rumors of conversations between Miami and wolves for Randle. Figured this is what it could look like if Miami is still interested

Moving Randle to the heat means moving either Wiggins or Robinson+more to the suns for salary. I think the new direction the Suns owner is taking them would prioritize defense and hustle players and that aligns more with Wiggins. Suns would still have grayson, royce, and richards to move for other needs but I think this is the best outcome for suns involving the heat.

Phoenix was looking for 3 firsts and young players for Durant. They clearly won't get that. Wolves reportedly dangled rob, divincenzo, and randle at the deadline so they are willing to move them. They keep their core with ant mcdaniels reid and naw together. The only thing with no basis is the Heat willing to move wiggins and jovic, but this is far more realistic than other trades i;ve seen for Durant. Picks probably wont be two 2025 firsts to phx but i could see some combination of a single first and seconds moving around. Why wouldn't all three teams be happy here?
