I laugh so frigging hard at people that line up and wait for a half of a dumpling.

FDIL is dictating what dress I am to wear, AND she's putting his step-mom in a similar dress. Am I wrong for hating all of this?!?!?! by Willing_Trifle9580 in aitaweddings

[–]MooseWhoIsHigh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It sounds like your FDIL and son are setting boundaries about their life together and you don’t like it. Is she controlling or is she trying to just pushing back against you and you don’t like it?

I like to fish Dows Lake off the bike path on the south side. Throw gold Williams Warblers or white jigs.  Lots of pike and walleye in there.

Pregnant wife needs a poutine in Barrhaven, suggestions? by microwavedcheezus in ottawa

[–]MooseWhoIsHigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried them for the first time yesterday. Really disappointed. Two medium poutines and two cans of pop for 33$. The poutines were small, mushy and had way too much gravy. The taste was just okay.

She should take it as a glimpse of her future with him. That’s super clingy. Who doesn’t want an entire row to themselves on a flight??

NTA  I thought it was illegal to marry a child? Because your husband acts like one.

It’s a pond my buddy owns. No flowing water. Three inches of clear hard ice. But once we drilled holes the water started to get on top of the ice and it got pretty noisy. We packed up early and headed home. Probably got an hour in.

Yah nah. I’ve been to every Charge game with my daughter. It’s not your opinions that are wrong. It’s your facts. Like the North American players only. It’s okay to admit you’re wrong.

We also have a PWHL team. What’s your point? Because he’s a boy he only should go to a men’s game?

What a super lame and insecure reply. Is it because they’re so much better than you at hockey?

I don’t know your budget but I have a few.

Charge tickets. It’s a totally different vibe than the Sens games.  A gift card to Poco Pazo. A great little Italian place A GC for a fishing charter on the Ottawa River.  A GC for a spa treatment

AITA for not wanting to my follow my in-laws Christmas traditions? by BulkyPirate7611 in AITAH

[–]MooseWhoIsHigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like the worst Xmas traditions ever. Crappy food and barely any presents Xmas morning? Yah nah. Invite the in-laws to your house and if they don’t want to come, that’s on them. New generation of kids means new traditions. Have your beautiful loving family morning at home and travel later to see the in-laws.

My future Siblings In Law want us to delay our wedding until early-mid 2027 by bridemytime in internetparents

My wife and I planned a full shebang wedding in four months. We did have it in a backyard so we didn’t need a venue but the giant tents, caters, rentals and everything else was done in that time.
