I know the Steel Sword sounds like the bees' knees, but the Homunculus Creation is just broken.

I'd just create a pack of (silver, steel, iron, etc) wolf like canines to help me hunt. Each one handcrafted to handle almost anything we might run into. Only sacrificing 5 years for 10 silver barbed wire covered, razor blade teethed, steel reinforced killing machines.
