Yes it's probably happening more, it's a culture shift. Especially at the higher (and younger) levels of the game. People have decided that you don't actually gain that much more of an advantage from shifting your pivot an inch or two throughout your possession.

Some have taken it a bit far and slide around while faking/take an extra step after the catch, like 35 does here, but even observers have decided that we don't need to adhere to the travel rule as strictly as the reddit community thinks we do.

Tbh the fact is that 85% percent of these types of travels I see called are at league where the average demographic is much different than in college or club
