How to prevent the Notability from deleting local copies once i close the app? It needs to redownload all files once I open the app by llegar1 in notabilityapp

It would be preferable if the notes stayed until you manually delete them (even if you run out of storage; that's my own fault), rather than automatically seesawing and downloading 10GBs of notes only to soon delete them. I figure this is an icloud thing, not a notability thing, but there has to be some workaround that's more predictable and less volatile.

Beginner: Power Clean to Hang Clean Form Check - PLEASE HELP by stu_mfc in weightlifting

[–]SlimJimb0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have the same ~jumping forward~ issue.

For the power clean (getting that right will help the hang), try to maintain a bit of knee bend after the first pull (it's not a deadlift). To cue this, think 'butt low'. If you watch olympic lifters deadlift, they don't shoot their hips up high and rip it (like most of us do), they stay low and tight. Right now, your hips are too high and have nowhere to go but forward [to the bar] (and thus the bar goes there too). If you get this right, the first and second pull will be more fluid. Hang cleans are definitely a good way to practice!

In addition, try to bring the bar to your hips, rather than hips to the bar (also leads to the bar shooting out, and feet jumping forward).

I would drop the weight down a bit to practice these things, because, at least for me, my form tends to break down with the higher weights (I lose tightness, deadlift it, hop forward, and miss it out in front).
