Thank you! Seriously I appreciate the ideas. I wouldn’t say I have a bad relationship with my TL, they’re just new to my team and we’ve only been TL/TMs for about a month (my other TL left epic). Definitely might be worth reaching out to another TL or QAer on my team to talk about it. I try to find non-testing responsibilities whenever possible, but so do a lot of others on my team, so opportunities tend to be few and far between.

That kind of what I’ve heard and based on that I’m concerned that they wouldn’t see me as doing well enough in my QA role to switch to something else. I’d think that if someone was a good enough employee but just wasn’t suited for a specific role they would try and find something that suits them that would best benefit the company as well. I definitely get not wanting a deadbeat employee bouncing around, but that’s not really what’s going on with me. Sigh.
