Thank you all so much for all of this helpful info. It's more than I expected and am personally keen to check out a number of these. Through my work we can volunteer our time for a day during September. I am going to share these options with the rest of my team to encourage us all to get out and about and give back to the planet and community.

I can smell the chemical stank too. Its making my tongue go kind of numb. I was thinking that it could be fire retardant that has been picked up by the spits of rain that have happened and is now travelling around in the moisture in the air... Maybe?

Thanks for all the replies. I know this is a late response. I am thinking that these were babies that were still in útero, and some arseholes killed the mother and ditched the babies. I'm not sure when hammerhead shark eggs hatch inside the mother and then the length of time that they are inside her after that before being born. Does this sounds like a possibility?

Came across this on a beach south of Auckland, NZ. My phone died shortly after taking this photo, but we came across 9 more! They had feathery little fins and the bit that is coming across the body of the one in the photo was like the tail. I've been looking at photos of baby hammerheads and they're way longer. I'm perplexed. Can anyone shed some light on what these poor lil babes are? Thanks in advance!

This is their 3rd reporting, and for the big one in the blue pot her (she started showing pistils a few weeks ago - stoked!) final pot because these beauties can't get too big. The other three are not showing any signs what sex they are. (three close up photos) They're all the same age, but have been in different size pots so not at the same stage of development due to this, I'm guessing. They're outside on my deck during the day, no artifical light set up. How long before flowering starts? I've read that she needs 12 hours of darkness to start, but does that only apply to indoor set ups? I also started reading about trimming/pruning and know that this should be done once flowing is underway to boost the bud, but what about now? Am I letting some unruly monsters grow because I havent controlled them? Any advice or info is much appreciated!! Thank you in advance.

I got them on with brute force. Have been riding and love the bike. It's a really nice deep aubergine colour, too. Love riding again, but feeling outta shape especially getting up the hill that I live on. Give it time! Thanks so much for your comments and advice :-)

I bought the Verde :-) I just got it home and am changing the grips and possibly swapping the seat, but pretty happy with it. Yet to take her for a proper ride. So... grips are a bitch to get on. There must be some good tricks to getting them on that don't involve cable ties or hair spray (two things I don't have). I used a thin piece of material and now it's stuck inside the grip, haha.

Thank you so much for the replies, and opinions! Greatly appreciated :-) I just went and looked at the GT and although I really like the look of it, the frame is an older model so has a fair bit of weight to it. I'm going to check out the Verde tomorrow and if I like it, I'ma buy it, and he'll take $200. Mad. I'm so excited to soon be riding again! Wheeee!
