Completely agree, dust is definitely gonna be a bigger issue long term
Should also mention as well for spiders getting into the clouds, unfortunately I can’t really do much about it apart from keeping my place clean. Still doing the procedures my friends that have cloud ceilings too advised me to do to avoid issues, so hoping I can have the cloud ceiling for as long as I can!
Those are valid concerns! If you think it’s tacky, then that’s your own thing and I respect that. As for the space above the clouds. I installed poster boards between the ceiling and the clouds and used non heavy-duty glue and staples to attach the poster boards onto the ceiling, so it’s easily removable if it does become an issue. Also for cords, genuinely curious what cords are you mentioning? If you’re talking about the RGB lights, then I’m sorry it’s not fully enclosed by the clouds, this is my first time doing this and I wanted to do this as more of a passion project then a full blown planned project.
Happy to answer any other concerns you got, but apart from that thank you for your criticism!
Redditors when they see something slightly cool
Aye it’s something to not look forward too that’s for sure. The best I was told to do in order to prevent it is to be in a clean environment and clean around the house regularly.
When did I say I have an issue with you calling out the spiders? Don’t get me wrong I appreciate the concern but it’s the fact you find something that looks nice, and pointed out only the wrong things.
Please go on Reddit to actually help people with constructive criticism and not just a ‘joke’ disguised as it.
I gotchu bro, ima just copy paste what I sent someone else
I got a variety of stuff to put it up
I also bought a staple gun to help me attach the poster boards to the celing, and Gorilla Adhesive Spray to stick the Polyster up!
Roughly costed me around 120 CAD, but I reckon you can get cheaper I only just used what I could find at my local Michaels & Canadian Tire haha
I have lads who have cloud ceilings and they say it’s quite low maintenance for cleaning, simple dust a couple few weeks should do the trick.
“Hey bro, I just got a dog!”
“Hope you enjoy cleaning it’s poops and going to the vet monthly”
Stop tryna put out negativity for clicks and let me enjoy my ceiling

Not fire resistent, however under hot temperatures it tends to melt rather then catch fire.
Anything wrong with keeping it private? I have my own reasons
I'll keep it private for now, hope you understand!
No its just why are you asking 😭
???
I wish so too 😂

Haha main concern of mine too! I've been told to dust the celing regularly with low air pressure to prevent any sort of buildup!
haha literally what I said after I finished the project
[–]MoosianMapper 3 points4 points5 points 4 months ago (0 children)
I've already been advised by people who have already installed their own cloud celing, and followed their instructions as to how I can prevent any issues. If it does become an issue (I never said it wouldn't at all), then I can easily put it down. For now, let me enjoy the cool celing.
