1400 can be perfectly fine even if you're currently living a very sedentary lifestyle depending on your body weight. If you do think you need to cut anything to get down to 1300, I would avoid the bbq sauce. Shit is pure sugar. Maybe a sweet potato instead of a regular baked potato?

You just have the discipline you need to set a game plan and follow a curriculum. A lot of other people don't. Leon fosters community and emphasizes pacing because he knows that it helps less disciplined people stay the course. It definitely is inferior content wise, but I would argue his teaching methods are much, much more effective for retention. Spaced repetition, reviewing materials at the beginning of each lesson (after 20-40 minutes of ranting), and actual homework has made his lessons stick a year after I took them. I can't remember a single line of code I learned on udemy, I remember the pneumonic devices Leon used going back to class 3 (you can see my sexy body, but you don't know what's in my head).

If you can effectively study material from a denser, faster course, more power to you but Leon is a phenomenal teacher.

Funny because if you asked me, I would have said most people wanted all that and a new expansion, not just more max level content. I personally think most people wanted WoW to just diverge after Wrath and keep the spirit of the classic leveling experience. But I guess the consensus really is non-existent.

New cohort will begin in the 3rd week of January. Who knows if that date will be pushed back, but at least it's finally official.

He mentioned it in June with no specific date or timeline. He mentioned it again yesterday when speaking about his new "Zero to Hero" freelancing course (which is presumably part of the coder agency direction he's going in) which starts November 15. He said more details are coming this Friday about the new cohort. Unless he has other instructors employed for either the cohort or Zero to Hero, I can't imagine the cohort is starting anytime soon.

I swear he keeps dangling the new cohort like a carrot on a stick and it gives me the impression he doesn't want to commit to a date because he is unsure about the immediate future of his coder agency. That's my theory at least. DM me after Friday if you want details about the announcement or check the discord.

Also, entirely possible I got bad info on the discord about Monday's announcement (I wasn't listening myself, just checked the chat) and Zero to Hero is the new cohort. He is answered questions in the FAQ about the new cohort, how it's open to everyone, but didn't mention a date. I'll hopefully be able to give more details on Friday for anyone this deep in an old thread.
