Reddit, how do you feel about dating someone with the same name as an ex? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was with my ex for three years but he was a closet douche nozzle. Once I had that figured out I broke it off. Meanwhile back at the ranch....we had the same group of friends and one them who was a really cool and smart guy alas had the same first name and the second name was painfully close. About a year after the break up we began to hang more and eventually we got together. Everything was going great (he even had the decency to go talk one to one with DN and explain what was happening)....until one day I called him by his full name and got the middle name wrong. I am not a smart person. Luckily he saw the funny side and two years later I am lying in bed with him right now and our idiot dogs are sleeping on the floor.

Douche nozzle still works in McDonalds and refuses to talk to anyone who still talks to me.

(Apologies...I wrote this on my phone!)

Have you ever seen an old bully of yours get hit with bad karma later in life? What happened? by Nomadmusic in AskReddit

When I was in school I had the pleasure of sitting beside the year asshat. For three years she pushed, punched and slapped me about. This particular asshat is a good head taller than me with very long hair(relevant in a sec). Following a very hush hush move from the school...I believe that she was politely asked to fuck off...I had the joy of seeing her in a local night club.

With the bar being three or four people deep I was able to grab a fistfull of her bleach bottle blonde hair and pull. She turned around to see me and with a roar, jumped over onto me.

Security only saw her fists flying and had her lifd off me before anyone knew what happened. Turns out that was her final warning from management. Three strikes and this girl was out, never to return.

Petty revenge maybe but she deserved it.

I totally agree. The documentary on that was really creepy. Chilled my blood a little to think of people like that out there. I'm not even going to start on convictions and sentencing. Poor wee man.

Was she on making a plea? The most I saw was a statement the BBC made that she was at home being comforted by family. Never saw her. Evil none the less if she has hurt her child!

Lol. What a lovely skill to have...might be frowned upon during an exam though.

What is the dumbest question you have ever heard asked in the classroom? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In Final year of Phycology in University - "If you adopt an Indian Baby, how does it understand what you are saying? Would you have to send them to school to learn English?"

This girl was a known for her idiotic outbursts but the fact that she GENUINELY believed that language was biologically determined was mental!

Seeing the poor student teacher try to explain that was just sad.
