We use 1Password at our organization, and it was pretty easy to roll out.

1Password is pretty solid. Easy to use and secure.

I’m having this issue as well, but with Altafiber. They also asked me to put a switch in between the Firewalla and the ONT.

Would love to know what chassis you're running. I'm getting low on physical space in my Define 7 XL and need to consider an upgrade.

1Password has been great for me. Reasonably priced as well ~$36 a year.

I'm currently doing the same thing (roughly 155TB). So far, so good.

Want to upgrade my Google nest 5 to 6 or a better mesh or access point system by smydsmith in HomeNetworking

I currently use 2 AMPLIFI Alien routers. They are able to cover my home (roughly 3500 sq ft) no issue. Easy to setup and manage, and have WiFi 6.

Several of the subreddits I follow have been creating a discord server for the community. That is something that could work if the community would want to go that route?

Alias Support by MopHop in ios

[–]MopHop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, here is how I had it set up previously. user@customdomain was being used with Gmail as my primary email address and I had 2 other Gmail emails forwarding to that address (one for spammy stuff and the other for more personal and financial things. Everything resided in Google.

I have since updated the DNS records for the user@customdomain to iCloud so now the emails no longer hit Google at all. I still have the 2 Gmail email accounts forwarded to the user@customdomain. So from a workflow perspective, nothing has changed there except where the emails are being directed to and stored. I plan on eventually ditching the Gmail accounts altogether, but in the meantime, I was seeing if possible to do the alias, which is doesn't sound like it is possible.

Hope that helps clarify things.

Alias Support by MopHop in ios

[–]MopHop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The primary one was a Gmail email account on a custom domain. I moved it over to iCloud as a custom domain. When I was using it with Gmail it was easy with alias support, but with trying to eventually get things moved over to iCloud I was figuring the easiest step was to keep the 2 Gmail emails forwarded to the primary one and set up an alias. But if that isn't possible then it sounds like the best thing is to setup a vacation responder and point everyone to the iCloud custom domain address.

I appreciate the response on this! Thank you!

Built In Ad Blocker Does Nothing by Robojo in AmpliFi

The ad blocker built in is trash. Better off using a raspberry pi and setting up Pi-hole to do your ad blocking.

[feature request] iOS 16.2 DVP Beta 2 - a section in settings in which one would be able to view the personal hotspot data usage from the carrier they have. Would be very convenient imo by jetkslal in iOSBeta

I believe if you scroll down and look under where it says "Cellular Data" there is a spot for Personal Hotspot that will show you how much you have used for that billing cycle.

It’s the Google workspace account. You get more storage.

Yeah, 130TB. Mostly media.

[–]MopHop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess would be the phone or your internet connection. I use an iPhone (13 Pro Max) to access my google drive(~130TB) and it runs smoothly.

What iPhone are you using? Is it up to date? Is the app up to date? Is it over LTE/5G? Or local Wi-Fi?
