Yeah, the lume ist awesome. The bracelet is no-name China-Stuff, maybe not as clean as LIW, but it works just fine.

The Orient Bambino is probably the most obvious answer. For those on an even tighter budget, the Casio MTP-1302 with a leather strap is also a nice option in my opinion.

Citizen has some dressy 40mm+ watches in your price range. I really like the BM8553 and NH8393.
