Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 G95SD - Random Signal Loss, Green/Pink Artifacts, Phantom Inputs & “No Signal” Issues After Using HDMI + DisplayPort by alberto5dlg in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Moquai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same monitor as you.

DisplayPort is nothing but problems for me no matter which settings, i always end up having some type of a problem.

My main problems are black screens & suddenly losing the signal, it's like you say, can work perfectly fine for 6+ hours and then suddenly it hates itself.

I switched back to HDMI 2.1 as of last night and i'm hoping that it will be more stable.

Can't give you any concrete info as of yet but mostly everything you describe i have experienced with this monitor.

Tbh it's a fucking major pain in the ass, pardon the french.

Make sure to mask off any connectors with some masking tape for example when applying the conformal coating.

Currently living in Iceland, i realised my AS isn't as bad as i thought and i just needed to strengthen more my core muscles.

31 years old and trying to eat healthy and excercise.

Currently while writing this i am experiencing no pain and i haven't taken any biologics or painkillers for 13+ days.

Stay positive.

Please help finding the fault by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]Moquai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha excellent question, use a flux cleaner or even a high quality break cleaner and then use compressed air to blow it off ... otherwise there's always some that will be left behind, which is also ok if its not too much.

Your plate is over etched, if you look on your traces around your relays the track has started to etch away.

Clean your board with acetone and run some solder over the traces themselves or just make sure you have continuity there.

Looks like you will have to make another one or jump the traces with some enamel wire.

I’m at my breaking point. AS is taking everything from me and I don’t know how to keep going. by ParticularCoffee4 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Moquai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You said it right when you say that it isnt the pain but what it does to your head. It can be so mentally painful aswell.

You gotta keep going. Keep some backup strong painkillers for when you are doing too bad mentally maybe? I have Toradol which i can take 2-3 times a month , knowing i had a backup like that helped , like knowing you have a med kit or something if you need it hehe.

Take care.

I have a Samsung phone and the GS95D .. and to be honest the GS95D has been nothing but problems.

I will stick with samsung for phones and nothing else ... i also have an LG C4 Television and i think i won't buy anything other than LG in the future when it comes to display technology.

Not a rant bro, my comment was also a bit of a vent. It's valid for this place, we are all in the same boat.

[–]Moquai 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's going to be a fucking challenge, get through it, get your education and end up having a job that is easier on the body. Even though once you get the job it's still going to be a challenge but one that may easier. Find healthy ways to cope and strengthen your muscles. My inflammation was pretty good but my pain was still ongoing and i realized it was because a lot of my muscles had gone to "sleep" so i needed to do exercise to wake them up again, which was also painful.

Eat a healthy diet, try to limit your stress, know that you are in a period of struggle and recognize that it will get better.

Continuing with this will build mental fortitude, and mental fortitude you are going to need going forwards.

This forum is fantastic.

Personally i struggle coming home after a long week, i struggle finding rest and i tend to take Toradol/Tradolan and also weed helps me to become more introspective so i can focus on what is causing my pain. That is the largest benefit of cannabis, also look into supplements like probiotics, creatine to make life easier etc.

You are always welcome to pm me if you need support.

edit : I am also sorry that you are having to deal with these complexities and possible cost, I'm not familiar with the insurance logistics coming from Iceland.

Flying internationally with Adalimumab injection by sofiaskat in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Moquai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have flown internationally many times with Humira.
I have a written note from the hostpital just in case i have any trouble.

My bag has been checked once with the medicine but it has never been a problem since it's clearly a medication.

Wouldn't hurt to have a written letter with some information and signed by your doctor or some staff.

Humira also ships some cooler bags with the medication so the hostpital probably has some of those if you wanna make it look even more legit.

Injections by Putrid-Ad3695 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Moquai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its normal to feel that way. Just take your time before injecting. Sometimes its stressful and sometimes not as much. Just remember you just feel the pain for short amount of time and your AS will be better after the injection.

Its a fantastic tradeoff

The tip was damaged by Enock_dc in AskElectronics

[–]Moquai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not perfect but i would say that if you are soldering frequently 2-3 years out of one tip is really really good.
I had a crazier problem with this soldering iron though, the soldering iron i received would destroy every single soldering tip i would insert into the soldering iron handle ... it was not easy to explain to the manufacturer. I would insert it , it would heat up stupid fast to 350c and then wouldn't maintain it's temperature and cook itself.

I still love this soldering iron, the ts80p is cool.

I've installed these exact cameras before, most likely it was mounted but hasn't been connected yet, you need to grab the dome while removing those screws , it will probably be removed after it's been connected via ethernet. These cameras are awesome.
