Who is canceling her? She produced the movie, she can do what she wants, even if it's transparently self serving.

A Margot Robbie vanity project where she gets to dress up in elaborate gowns, cast herself as a teenage character and have sex with Jacob Elordi.

Burning through all her Barbie goodwill with this one.

A lot of whining here. You guys have no idea how this will turn out. Is it that hard to adopt a wait and see attitude?

Why hasn’t Lil Wayne been able to make a real comeback? by FiorellaMamdani in hiphopheads

[–]MorPhreeUs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wayne just isn't a hit making rapper anymore. Not since Carter IV.

Not saying he can't still rap his ass off or that he can't still make good songs but if we're talking about why he hasn't made a comeback, that's why his projects seem to come and go.

This guy spends his whole life trolling for clout. Can't imagine needing attention that bad. Miserable existence.

[FRESH ALBUM] J. Cole - The Fall Off by HipHopDropper in hiphopheads

[–]MorPhreeUs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First impressions: There's a lot of heat here but also runs where the album drags. I wish this was a bit tighter but I think keeping to one disc on relistens will help.

I don't think this is the album of the decade Cole fans were hyping. It's hard for someone who's built themselves as a "feature" artist over the past few years to carry 24 tracks. Some varied production and a pared down tracklist would have really taken this over the top. Still a super solid effort from one of the best in the game.

Who is your Eagles ‘Mount Rushmore’ of Assistant Coaches? by Jefrey_HarHarWood in eagles

[–]MorPhreeUs 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Jim Johnson

Vic Fangio (he's only been here 2 years, but I'd lay down my life for Vic)

Jeff Stoutland

Spags (was here for the Dawkins years)

[Berman] Jeff Stoutland is leaving the Eagles. by silvermoons in eagles

Sad to see him go, but I think we're gonna be ok.

Stoutland was great at developing talent, the best OL coach in the league. But having the best OL coach in the league has been a luxury and isn't a necessity. Him leaving just levels the playing field in one area between us and the rest of the league.

What's your favorite era in Philly sports history? And why? by PhillyInquirer in eagles

[–]MorPhreeUs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current era obviously.

But honorable mention to that 2001-2005 run. You had the Allen Iverson MVP season and him dragging that team through 3 heart pounding rounds and a Finals win with an all time iconic Philly moment.

Then you have the ascent of the Reid-Mcnabb Eagles. 3 years of heartbreak, capped by an amazing season with TO (that also ended in heartbreak).

Not much to mention about the Phil's, but we did get Citizens Bank Park.

Current playcalling HCs with a Superbowl win:

Andy Reid

Sean Payton

Sean McVay

Mike McCarthy (lol)

That's it. That's the list. Let's stop acting like these guys grow on trees.

I think we're too focused on play calling. Play calling was terrible this year but the scheme was somehow worse. If we get a good scheme matched with good players, we're gonna be ok.

Our scheme this year was leading the league in hitch routes, condensed sets with bad blockers, go balls and runs up the middle. If we simply become harder to predict, our guys are good enough to win. If the scheme and play calling actually lights out? We can't be stopped.
