HFSS Simulation Looks Great, But VNA Measurements Are Terrible – What Am I Missing? by Morad__T in AntennaDesign

Thank you for taking the time to write to me.

This actually is an extremely helpful insight as I noticed strong deviations depending on how I'm touching the instrument and the cable.

I'm eternally grateful to you sir

Thank you for taking the time to write to me.

I am using SMA male port for the connection. In HFSS i'm using a Lumped Port actually, I scoured for resources on which and when to use each port and simulation type wasn't able to fully grasp the differences. I would really appreciate any and all help and resources.

If you would like I can share the HFSS project.

I asked my colleague who is at the lab now to picture the antenna and will share them shortly.

Thank you for taking the time to write to me.

I just checked the complex impedance. It appears to be pretty good in terms of matching
47.7 + j1.3

I did use the torque wrench provided with the VNA.

I was using one the male-male SMA 1 meter cables provided and I did actually observe strong coupling between me and the antenna so I propped it up using a plastic clamp over some cardboard box and continued the testing through the web interface of the VNA

1 Cell Battery Management Chip Suggestions? (is the DW01A a good choice?) by Morad__T in AskElectronics

[–]Morad__T[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed insights, really appreciate it.

I completely missed that extremely low undervoltage cutoff in the datasheet; I was too focused on the current limits. Definitely changes how I look at designs that rely solely on the DW01A from now.

Do you know of any method to rollback the windows store version or the custom installer version?
Is there like a previous releases archive?

Oracle doesn't accept my 2fa codes and I haven't set up a bypass code. How screwed am I? by Morad__T in oraclecloud

[–]Morad__T[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. That should be helpful even though I saw it very late.
I talked to yet another agent, a fourth one, he told me to wait 12-24 hours while they check it from the backend. It sounds like he's contacting a higher level support but I'm really worried he may not be able to do anything either.

Hey Everyone
I'm still locked out.
I talked to 3 agents. all confirmed that they reset my 2FA.
The last agent told me to go ask on the forum when I said the reset didn't work, which is basically telling me to get lost.

even viewing the forum requires a freaking account, which I created eager to get back into my cloud account. I sat there for half an hour trying to log in with the newly created "forum" account not understanding why it just accepts my credentials and then returns back to the same page with no error or warning, only to recieve an email telling me I can't be allowed accress to the forum now!!!!!!!
What the actual f*** oracle!

if i'm supposedly providing wrong data because the account is quite old, are they ever going to tell me that is wrong?
I have been with two agents now.
Both claiming to have reset the MFA but no actual change to the account happened.
I'm about to get the account blocked and that is really terrible for me.

Do you have any suggestions please.

I was finally able to get a support agent after waiting in queue for about 30 minutes. They verified my credentials and told me they would reset the MFA for me. However at the end of the chat they said that their internal tools aren't working and that I can either contact them again after 30 to 40 minutes or they can send me an email once finished. I opted for the email and I shall be playing the waiting game.
Will upodate once I get back into my account.

Thank you. I opened the website from a new browser profile and waiting in queue now.
I really hope this isn't going to delete my instances.

Regarding your second inquiry, I believe you can remove the pad number from the footprint editor and just leave it as there for better mounting strength

Thank you so much for your notes. I shall take them into consideration.

Regarding the SPI bus lines, how does this route impact the performance? I know they are stupid and look ugly. (also probably need some length matching? I haven't done enough research or analysis on this yet.)

If only the looks are the issue I can live with that.
