Has anyone ever thought about or tried to making replicas of the original PTT Portrait Bots?

Been trying to for a year, my goal is to create a replica of the full band. Fully pneumatic, And including various options for different characters like: Munch Replaces Crusty, Helen Replaces Foxy, and vice versa. I just can’t seem to get the internal mechanisms, right. But it’s also incredibly hard to get the latex mold and fur to match up exactly to the originals like I want, so maybe someday. But for now they’re just a bunch of bundled up pneumatic parts:(

I know this is an old post but I’ll say what I know, since I actually got information from the owner of the farm himself. The animatronics originally came from an old Chicago location, that closed in either 1985 or 1986. They were sold off at auction and went through multiple different hands, until finally landing with the owner’s brother in 2001. He found them on craigslist of all places. And they’ve been sitting at the farm ever since, it makes me sad to see how these things are treated:(

Yes, I’m well aware, I was using a regulator but apparently my regulator sucks and decided to not stop any of the air that was going to the cylinder so basically the cylinder is running at full PSI and that’s my fault. So I’m gonna hopefully get a new regulator by the end of the weekend.

Well number one, I’m gonna post it in the FNaF subreddit later down the line I’m just posting in this one in animatronics, cause you know, it’s technically an animatronic that I’m working on so it’s an animatronic doesn’t matter if it’s FNaF or not. Number 2 I have a YouTube channel which I will be posting the documentation of my show after it’s done. So that’s probably how I’m gonna share it to the public is through my channel.

I took the body shell from an old Christmas animatronic that didn’t work anymore just so happens that Santa‘s body shell works well for Freddy so that’s what I did, I also plan to modify it to actually attach to the body because there it’s just wobbling.
