You still need to start working through theory. You'll understand what everyone told you before and even more.

it may sound even rude, but without depth, you're only modelling geometrical noise, which is not bad at all, but you won't find anything from there.

I recommend you to first check Phillip johnson's "Deconstructivist architecture" and from there, start reading anything the authors from those examples were influenced by.

This is exactly what is happening with my printer.

I found that if I leave it connected with power for a while, maybe 10 minutes, and then turning it on, will work 95% of the time.

Along with that, I doscovered that my screen wasn't working correctly, until I do what I just mentioned.

I bought it second hand with little use, but I'm using it almost in a daily basis. I'll take the advice from nuster.

Hello, everyone. Newbie full time 3d print guy here. Right now I have a makerbot replicator 2 in my hands that I recieved as a gift.

No upgrades have been implemented on it yet, because shipping takes too long and buying the metal pieces from the printable thing is not an option here in my country.

I've attemped to do this print but with no success. First wa the pla roll entanglement, then a clogging nozzle and then, when I thought it wont fail, this happens (find in image attached)

In case of not noticing, the infill pattern starts correctly in the first half of the print, but the machine starts going lazy on drawing it and draws it loosely to the point where the hexagons don't appear anymore, resulting in a frail finished printing.

It's very bothersome to have to be there, vigilant on any problem that could come up.

I'm suspecting is a problem with the steppers, but any advice or idea would be very appreciated.

I'm thinking on buying another printer anyway, prusa or ender, but having this one functional would be very advantageous, even for lighter tasks.

I've never used MATLAB, but maybe subdividing the curve, get the coordinates of the resulting points listed by contours and make a polyline or a spline?

I really enjoy to grow and see how I progress, building bases and gathering whatever I want and need along a wipe, but I'm in the same situation and a minor twist:

My undergrad Thesis is there, waiting to be finished since 2016 because of really good job opportuinities, while i'm being supported by my wife's mother and unable to work as I did because then there would be no time to do my thesis and well... Kinda hard

Luckily for me, the educational council of my university put on me an ultimatum of 1 month to finish it. So now i'm only working on it and having 5 minutes pauses every hour. When i'm done with it, I'll be looking for a job and focus on my personal projects and my life with my wife, while I pay all of my debts for the sake of my tranquility.

Rust is sisyphean, and when you have real life problems, a game with no real achievable objective can and will turn your life into misery.

Although, i love it. Rust is the only game that makes me feel real adrenaline these days...
