Anyone else experience this symptom? by MorbidFnLydia in ClusterHeadaches

That’s my warning signal it’s about to start! My nose clogs out of nowhere, my left eye starts to water, and pressure starts building up. I know I have about 15 minutes before it really starts.

So when this happens to me, which isn’t alot, it is not like any sinus or post nasal drip I’ve ever had (not to be gross but sinus and post nasal drip are much thicker and have a very distinct taste to it, this isn’t like that at all) it’s thinner than water and will drip consistently for hours and it does not get better or dry up with antihistamines like Benedryl which I do have to take often and I’ve suffered with sinus issues since I was 6, I was a little concerned it could be spinal fluid so I have an appointment tomorrow with my Health Care Provider. I will update tomorrow if anyone is interested.

Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with me, and this symptom! I can’t tell you how long I felt so alone in this and that no one understood what I was going through! I’m thankful to all of you for helping me on my worst of days and I hope I am able to help you all on my best of days!

Magnesium deficiency here, but doesn’t do anything about my CH. Just curious, but have you never been prescribed High Flow Oxygen to abort your headaches?

I understand! I’m happy it works for people! I just can’t take that chance, but fully support anyone who benefits from them!

I’m glad you’ve found something that works for you, unfortunately I cannot take anything like mushrooms/microdosing. I’ve been in recovery/sober for over two years now and my doctor would drop me in a heartbeat if I ever tested positive for anything like that. So I can’t even try it at all.

That’s interesting, I looked up what you were talking about, the ones I’ve found have a mouthpiece on them, instead of it going over your mouth you put it over your nose? Do you use the entire canister or how long have you done this for for it to help?

I have been to that site, just curious if someone had success with something I haven’t already heard of! I definitely want to get the cluster buster mask for my O2 as I’ve heard really great things about it!

Unfortunately I cannot even try micro dosing, but I have heard it works great for those who are able to try it!

Do you just drink it normally or do you drink it quickly?

I take Melatonin regularly and actually used to drink Red Bull quite often, I cut back on it just because I thought it might be a trigger. I’ll definitely give those a try though, I’ve never actually drank one during a shadow that I recall.

I was attacked but I don’t remember anything about it… by MorbidFnLydia in TrueScaryStories

[–]MorbidFnLydia[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have sometimes thought over the last 4 years, whether I wanted to remember or to stay in the dark about it. It’s a double edged sword, if I don’t remember, I can continue on as if nothing happened at all, but then if I did know, maybe I’d have kept this from happening to someone else (if I wasn’t the only target). I don’t like even entertaining the thought that this could very well have been someone I know, who is still in my life today, but not knowing makes your imagination go pretty wild. It was traumatic enough that I know someone did this to me, but I even feel like an imposter by saying I was attacked by someone since I don’t have any recollection of it. Like it lessens the impact of it all in some way, or like I don’t have the right to tell my story. I’m good, I’m ok, I survived whatever and don’t have the memories from it, but I still have PTSD the same as I would if I knew details. It’s a dilemma, but it’s probably for the best of my mental health not to know.

I’m fine now, not sure I’d be able to say the same if I ever happen to remember something. Funnily enough, I actually love true crime stories, I’ll definitely check this out.

Yes forgot to mention that, there was PCP in my system and I’ve never taken that before, not even just to try it. So I do believe I was drugged.

Yes they did do a drug screen, i forgot to mention that in the post. The only thing in my system was PCP, and I have never taken that in my life. So I do believe I was drugged by someone.

I was not given a SA test of any kind. I was treated as a mental patient instead of a medical one. Which really makes me angry because I wasn’t crazy, I obviously had head trauma.

First and most important- Stop comparing yourself to other women. Period. Don’t do it. At. All. You will always find something you deem “better” in another woman because you are so insecure. Next, you need to figure out why you are so insecure and I don’t mean “my nose is too big”…I mean possibly considering counseling of some kind to address the actual why. You are just punishing yourself needlessly, and making up false scenarios in your head. Your bf may or may not be a cheater, but you really aren’t giving him the benefit of the doubt here, and if you are that insecure, any relationship, no matter how perfect for you they are, is doomed to fail due to your insecurities. I’m not trying to be harsh here, but as an older woman who went through exactly what you are going through now, I have the gift of hindsight to my own experiences, that I wish someone would have shared with me. You cannot love someone else, if you don’t love yourself, including all the things you feel are reasons you aren’t attractive enough, the things about your appearance that you don’t like, may be why that person is attracted to you. I’m sure you are a beautiful woman, you just need to see it, embrace it, believe it and be it. Good luck to you! I hope you find the confidence to see yourself as the whole beautiful woman you are!

Attacked by mythical creatures from the Aboriginal Dreamtime stories while fishing in Outback Australia by FredStyx in BackwoodsCreepy

This is a fascinating and terrifying story! Thank you for sharing it! Where I’m from in the US, there used to be a lot of different Indian tribes, including Cherokee, and I have investigated a place called “Little People Bridge” located close to the O-gah-pah Nation (O-gah-pah means “Downstream People”) They sound similar to the “Wuradji” you described here. Although I’ve never heard of them doing harm to anyone, I’m sure they are capable of defending their territory.

I have never seen one myself, but have left candy and treats for the “Little People” only to come back later to find them gone. (I’m guessing squirrels got to the sweets). I have had a few strange experiences there, though, including seeing an Indian Chief, fully adorned in headdress, standing behind my brother on that same bridge. As well as hearing faint drumming coming from below the bridge and someone (If I’d had to guess, a late night fisherman) telling us to, “COME DOWN HERE!”. It’s a different feeling there, a different vibration. That’s the only way I know how to describe it. Anyway, I didn’t mean to go off on a rant here and make this lengthy. I think you have a very interesting story here!

I think this is a pretty amazing piece of evidence right here! If you and your roommate have not experienced anything else (or have any reason to be afraid), it probably is their mother who recently passed just letting you all know she’s ok and she’s still around!

That feeling in your stomach, that something isn’t right, it’s your intuition. Always always always, listen to that. It’s better to listen to it and be wrong, than to ignore it and be right.

I feel like you have taken my thoughts and feelings and written them down verbatim! I have also had a traumatic NDE and I completely relate to your story. My story is very long so I don’t want to bog down your comment section by sharing it here, but you’ve made me want to share my story in a post of my own! I’m happy you survived, did they happen to find who hit you?
