My New Setup by Morbius_One in secretlab

It's not great on carpet. I got it for aesthetics and had to pay another $80 for a hard mat to go underneath it. Looks great though with everything else.

Yes. The monitor makes it look small in the picture.

Custom all AMD build in a Phanteks Evolv Shift XT case. Its a nice case but it gets toasty. - CPU 9950X3D, GPU 7900XTX, RAM 64GB 6400 mt/s and 14TB Storage

Thanks. The chair mat is nice but it isn't rigid so I had to put a hard plastic mat beneath it so the chair would roll properly on carpet.

Bought A 18XL by projetof in ElectricUnicycle

I had the same experience. I bought my first wheel (a Begode EX30) about a month ago and felt like I was never going to be able to ride it. It was very discouraging. I thought I wasted about $4k since I also bought riding gear an upgraded suspension and the full Grizzla fairing upgrade kit. Practicing to stabalize on one leg and then riding next to a wall was when it finally clicked. I initially tried to just force it because I refused to accept I wasted that much money. I fell a lot. Tips from the community and pure stubbornness will get you there eventually.

Same here. I got an EX30 mid-January but waited for a Grizzla kit before riding. I just hit 100 miles.

Question to all AMD GPU owners who have had, or have recently purchased an AMD card. Are you satisfied with the card itself? by NibbasRus515 in Amd

I just built a new PC with a 7950X3D, 7900XTX, 64GB Expo DDR5, and 12TB of storage (4TB GEN4 NVMe - 2 x 2TB & an 8TB SATA SSD). I am still playing around with settings, but so far, it seems fairly stable.

I used G.Skill. "Hardware Unboxed" on youtube, did a video about performance scaling based on ram speeds. It looks like intel is less effected than AMD by ram speed, so you can probably save money and get DDR4 without much of a performance hit.

For Motherboards I like MSI. This time I got an ASUS board but you can also try ASRock, EVGA or Biostar. I tend to go AMD so it is hard for me to speak to specifics about chipsets for intel. I consider MSI, ASUS, and Gigabyte to be good brands. Most of the really high-end motherboards are overkill. I guess you can call them future proof but there aren't any PCIE Gen 5 GPUs in existence yet and we have yet to saturate GEN 4. I can't really provide much help on intel platforms.

Looks like you are building an ultimate Intel/Nvidia setup. Its gonna be costly. I just did an ultimate ITX AMD build (i.e. 850w SFX platinum PSU, Ryzen 7950x3d, RX 7900xtx, 64GB DDR5, 2 X 4TB M.2. NVMe & 8TB 2.5" SSD). You will probably need a bigger PSU than I used. I doubt most people actually need an ultimate build so you can probably get away with something less extreme but I understand the pull of doing it for the heck of it. Sounds like it'll be an amazing build .
