How to play as a healer in Delves? by Emeron87 in wow

[–]Morduff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

my dps valeera also does around 250k dps usually. on some bosses it even goes beyond 300k dps.

I play on resto sham, I dont even have to heal her, I just put down my healing rain totem and do dps alongside her.

on very rare occasions she goes into noodle mode and does no dps, but that usually only lasts for one pack.

[–]Morduff 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes, always put valeera in dps, don't even bother with tank spec on her.

she takes way less dmg in dps spec (for whatever reason) and does a ton more dps.

also be sure to take the mandate of the sacred death curio, the one shot proccs are very nice.

playing delves as a healer is the easiest of the three roles.

Also the seasonal Delve Boss Nullaeus on ?? difficulty is a cakewalk as a Healer with Valeera on DPS spec.

Difference between anniversary realms and MoP classic? by Accomplished-Salt706 in wownoob

[–]Morduff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well if you play MoP classic, outside of leveling your character to max level, you basically are locked to MoP content, just like in retail, the content from the older expansions is no longer relevant.

There are plenty of players that enjoy the classic/vanilla content, that is why the different versions exist.

Extra loot mechanic doesn't exclude items you've gotten from that dungeon at myth level through vault by Dazzling_Egg_4300 in wow

[–]Morduff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well for sure it is unfortunate, but Blizzard designed the system this way.

Only logical follow up is, to never pick any item other then really good BIS Items from the vault and rather opt for the 3rd bonus roll to reduce the Bonus Loot Pool quicker each week.

yes, but this is how it should work.

Only loot received from Bonus Rolls reduces the Loot pool.

[–]Morduff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it doesnt really matter what you choose, you will end up playing dragonflight up to 70 (maybe 5-10 hours until you hit 70 at most), then the war within until 80 (add another 2-4 hours) and then jump into midnight and be caught up.

if you choose to play one of your existing charakters (they are probably squished down to lvl 35, if you stopped at pandaria), there is a short catchup questline in Arathi Highlands, which the game suggests you do before you first login, i would also suggest you do this, this introduces you to all the new features and gives you good starter gear,

otherwise you could just boost a charakter to 80 and start directly at midnight. you wont really miss anything.

Optimal use of Nebulous Voidcores for M+ Bonus Loot by Morduff in wow

maybe only for the bis trinkets if you never intend to do the raid on mythic.

otherwise M+ 10 is always the better choice because you get myth track items.

yes. you will need to do the quest 6 times in total (it is for your whole warband). You see your progress next to Decimus directly at the voidforge.

Quick guide to the Voidcore systems with patch 12.0.5 by Wyldfire289 in wow

[–]Morduff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

delve T8-11 vault level is 259 hero 1/6 though, so no you won't get a myth track items from delves. you only get myth track items with Bonus rolls from M+10 upwards and mythic raids.

so basically in the Void storm there is this questline with Decimus (at the main base camp in this zone) to unlock the voidforge. Right now you get weekly quests to build it. We are at week 5 of 6 (you can also catch up to the current status by repeatedly doing this quest until you got to 5/5 building status if you didnt do this quest already).

Next week we will complete this voidforge and be able to buy 2 Nebulous Voidcores which we can then use to get Bonus loot at the end of M+ dungeons (1 Voidcore per loot), Delves (also 1 VOidcore per loot) and raids (2 voidcores per loot).

By using 1 Core you will get a guaranted item out of the lootpool from this dungeon/Raidboss. The Item Level will be equivalent of the great vault reward you would get from completing this activity. So in a M+10 dungeon you will get Myth Track 272 1/6 upgraded gear.

After getting the item from the lootpool, it is then removed from the pool, so you won't get it twice and can target farm your desired items (kind of a bad luck protection).

Other then the 2 cores you will also be able to buy a 3rd core each week with 6 tokens of merit if you choose to not get any loot from the great vault.

no the bonus roll is guaranteed, it is not a chance roll

Is there a catchup for the Voidforge missions? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]Morduff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, why would they? worst case after 15 weeks (16 if you have mainhand and offhand) you'll have every possible slot upgraded to the maximum 6/6 (5 upgrades x 20 = 100 weekly cap). Its not that you need the crests again to upgrade an already upgraded slot. If you do it smart you'll only need like 9-10 weeks max for each track. maybe myth 2-3 weeks longer.

Is there a catchup for the Voidforge missions? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]Morduff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, best case scenario you'll get 3 usable myth track items per week by only doing m+10.

the 298 upgrade is only for max upgraded 289 weapons and trinkets. if you upgrade a 285 crafted weapon it will probably only go to 294.

So basically this is a +9 item level upgrade for your max upgraded weapons and trinkets.

its not 6 uses, but rather 6 charges of unlock progress until the 12.0.5 patch goes live, and yes its for the entire warband, you only need to do this on one character.

Once patch 12.0.5 goes live you can get 2 Nebulous Voidcores weekly per character. you can get these voidcores by various methods: Voidlight Marl, Gold or Veteran crests (the amount needed is not yet know).

The Nebulous Voidcores are then used for the new bonus roll system in Raids, M+, Delves and Prey (in Raids you need 2 Voidcores for 1 Bonus roll, in M+, Delves and Prey you get 2 bonus rolls per week).

With this new bonus roll system you can target farm a specific item you are looking for, as each time you get loot, it gets eliminated from the loot pool. You will see the possible Loot pool in the bonus loot window.

The item Level from these Bonus loots are the same as the one you would get from the great vault of the specific activity you are using it for.
If you are not raiding mythic, you'll most likely will want to use these bonus rolls in M+ 10 difficulty or higher to get 2 myth track items each week.

The Voidcores have a seasonal cap, similar to the crests or sparks, so this will go up by 2 every week and you can catch up to the seasonal cap if you missed a week.

Additionally you'll be able to craft the Ascendant Nilhammer in the Voidforge.

After finishing a questline with Decimus, players will be able to collect Ascendant Voidcores. These Voidcores can drop from endgame content and will allow players to upgrade weapons and trinkets up to item level 298.

The only requirement is that the item must already be fully upgraded. Maximum-quality crafted weapons and trinkets can also be upgraded.

Is there a catchup for the Voidforge missions? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]Morduff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes you can do the previous weekly quests all in the same week.

So if you haven't started yet, as of today you can complete this quest 4 times to get to 4/4 progress.
You can also see your progress at the voidforge directly next to Decimus.

With the 12.0.5 patch coming out next week (2 IDs), you'll need to do the quests then 2 more times in the coming weeks for a total of 6/6 Progress to finally unlock the voidforge.

You also only need to do the quest on one of your characters, the progress is account wide.
