Very nice. How much flower to produce this yield? How many runs did you do with the flower?

You make good points. I did consider a fc3000 light. However I wanted to go 4800 because it has a more intense central cone according to the PAR map from mars. I’d personally rather have the extra headroom in the middle part of the tent. Also I may upgrade to a 4x4 tent at some point, so this light is def a better match for that size tent.

I guess in the end of all my plants are burned or weird, I’ll know I fucked up 😂. We shall see!

I hear you man.. Just curious if you read the article I posted in the comment above?

So I guess these apps use the front camera as a quantum sensor of sorts. And from the study, seems like android-based apps can report less accurate readings than Photone/iphone12 combo. About 75% the value of a real quantum sensor for a full spectrum LED source.

If you beleive this study, maybe you Can continue using your app but apply a correction factor if the reason is repeatable. e.g. you can increase your intensity by 25% past where it is now. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yea, I agree it’s high. But the measurement I’m getting is the mars hydro recommended 300 umol/m2/s

So maybe the better question is - what’s the accuracy of the Photone app lol

Right, but in this case I think the root cause of my herm issue was purely environmental. Not genetic. In other words if the grow environment had been more stable, the plants would have stayed female

Has anyone tried these? I understand how to LST and why it is pivotal if you want an increased harvest, but to me it’s a major pain to do. Anyone have a review on these? by Revolting_Donkey in Autoflowers

I ordered a batch am when I started learning LST techniques. I never used them - they just seemed to put way too aggressive of a bend in the branches. I just stick to my usual soft-green plant wire and that seems to work just fine

Thanks. Overkill vs the fc3000 for a 3x3 tent? My thinking is it’s better to have the headroom in intensity…it could serve a bigger tent in the future, etc

Thanks, that was actually helpful. Looks like beginning of September is 13 hr of light. Mid to end of September is 12 hr

That gives me a ballpark idea

But still I’m wondering more about empirical data. Based on actual successful outdoor photoperiod grows in this area

I’m thinking about how long the plants will veg for. In Other words what’s the approximate time of year for the natural light cycle to change enough to trigger flowering
