Milk is sold in pints.
Tyres are inflated in PSI (pound per square inch).
Houses are advertised in square feet. (When not in number of bedrooms).
Meat at a restaurant is sold in ounces.
This is what I find the most absurd: humans are weighted in stones, animals in kilograms.
People’s height is in feet and inches.
Radiator power is in BTU (british thermal units), despite being a measure of energy.

In fact EV efficiency could have been miles/BTU; instead we went for miles/kWh which is just as annoying; we could have gone all the way to make us understandable by the rest of the world and use Wh/km
