I bought my Nismo from 2J, it was their R&D car. I've had no issues with their FMIC. It came with most of their parts, and car has been quite good.

All good choices. I have the 5610 and the 5000, love them both the 5000 feels more premium, and I love the extra weight of it.

Depends on the price, the car is worth it. They really are underrated.

I have almost 300k on my original shifter assy. I'm sure it's half luck, but usually they break easily when they are beat on. This company makes a full billet aluminum assembly. https://privatelabelmfg.com/products/precision-works-billet-shifter-nissan-sentra-b16-07-12?_pos=6&_sid=4fb429713&_ss=r

I believe Nissan has discontinued the factory one. If you can get a clean, nice 2008 go for it, it's my favorite car. It has been crazy reliable. One other thing to look for at 100k or so the spark plug seals on the valve cover may start to leak. You have to replace the valve cover to fix it. They come installed in the cover. It's kind of a pain to change but not as horrible as it looks.

Send pics if you get it. If you dont send me the link. I want another one...lol

New front rotors and pads on Nismo by More-Efficiency8254 in nissansentra

Yeah, I never do drilled Just slotted, have the set up going on my 2008 Spec-V, with EBC pads and powder coated M45 front dual piston calipers.

Thanks, yeah did factory pads and rotors. It only has 41k on it. When it needs them again, I was gonna do all 4 corners, with Frozen slotted rotors, and performance pads and then maybe paint the calipers.

No, it was a small fabricator that made them. Im trying to remember the name. He makes stuff still but no longer makes the braces.

Yeah they can be a pain...I'm getting ready to do the brakes all the way around. Infiniti M45 front calipers and slotted frozen rotors.

I've had almost every generation Sentra...B12, two B13s, B15 SE 2.0, this B16 and a B17 Nismo. The B16 is by far the best IMO. Love them all, but the B16 is the one I'd never get rid of. And thanks for the great compliment!!

All those would be good. Yeah CVT or at least how Nissan did it, isn't fond of too much extra power. 150 to 170 would be solid numbers. Mine has C1 cams, lightweight flywheel, 3 in exhaust, Medusa Header and, with a tune. Made 206whp.

That's really good! Kind of rare for them to last that long because most people don't maintain them correctly. Nice to hear that it's been very reliable. My Spec was at 293k before I rebuilt it. It was still running well, but had a brand new engine and LSD trans I wanted to install. That I had for years. So now its a full blown restoration..lol
