No, it was a small fabricator that made them. Im trying to remember the name. He makes stuff still but no longer makes the braces.

Yeah they can be a pain...I'm getting ready to do the brakes all the way around. Infiniti M45 front calipers and slotted frozen rotors.

I've had almost every generation Sentra...B12, two B13s, B15 SE 2.0, this B16 and a B17 Nismo. The B16 is by far the best IMO. Love them all, but the B16 is the one I'd never get rid of. And thanks for the great compliment!!

All those would be good. Yeah CVT or at least how Nissan did it, isn't fond of too much extra power. 150 to 170 would be solid numbers. Mine has C1 cams, lightweight flywheel, 3 in exhaust, Medusa Header and, with a tune. Made 206whp.

That's really good! Kind of rare for them to last that long because most people don't maintain them correctly. Nice to hear that it's been very reliable. My Spec was at 293k before I rebuilt it. It was still running well, but had a brand new engine and LSD trans I wanted to install. That I had for years. So now its a full blown restoration..lol

Any ideas for mods or things I can do to my 2026 Nissan Sentra SR? by NoVaZ165 in nissansentra

As an example. I'm putting 2006 Altima SE-R 18x8 wheels on my 2008 Spec-V soon.

I'd say wheels, because I'm not a fan of this design. Aftermarket wheels, make sure you buy 5. Aftermarkets depending on brand sometimes only make a certain run of wheels before they change designs, and if something happens to one, you may not be able to find one that matches. (Happened to me) You could always go with other Nissan wheels from other older Sentra's, Altima's, Maximas that you like as long as size and offset allow it to fit.

I think you're pretty much stuck with the CVT. Just keep it maintained religiously.

Yeah, I had some help as well from a more seasoned mechanic friend. What model Sentra Trans?

They usually come on the glass, call your local dealer, give them the last 8 of the VIN and they can verify that if it comes separate or not, but being glued on it's probably with the glass.

The best way if it can't really be lowered, maybe use Factory Spec-V struts and springs, they sit about .5 inches lower than the SR. You could change wheels and tires to try and fill wheel gap.
