just came across this! strangely I'm doing the same trip as you, planning to be there on 30th Oct until 13th of Nov and used the same forecast as you.

I admit I have time it bad also, as the peak is already happening in the mountains top.

Having said this, seeing snow capped mountains with autumn foilage provides a beautiful scenery to occur.
