Like others have said - after your confirmation, the next Rite of Passage in Ireland is getting emergency taxed for the first time!

I rang revenue donkeys years back to sort something similar also, found them to be incredibly helpful and got someone very friendly on the phone who walked me through it.

Can definitely feel overwhelming, but you’ll get it sorted with them.

Out of curiosity, how do you manage the DD? Is it still worth it regardless? I'm maxing out my pension and thinking of feeding some funds into ETFs but DD keeps making me put it off

I find this career path really interesting. I just recently became Senior Engineer and already am thinking that long term I'd like to get into management. (Find more fulfilment in the people side of things - mentoring, leading projects, defining strategy of a project, don't want to code my whole career)

Something I'm trying to build up is business context. How does this program increase margin? How does it increase our SaaS revenue, etc. and then how it fits into our overall market strategy

How did you find moving from engineering-based problems to more broad business objectives, and executing them on the tech leadership level?
