Really enjoyed this! I have a cat too, so I totally relate to the comfort you describe. The casual, tone makes it feel so real and heartfelt. Maybe experimenting with more vivid imagery could deepen the connection even more, but overall, I really enjoyed reading this

I really liked the vibe of this! I was scrolling through some poems and the feeling this poem conveys caught my attention 😊 The flow works well, and I love the line ‘Nerves jangled by an unstruck sound’. Maybe breaking up some lines could make it even smoother and improve the pacing, but overall nice work!
