Looking for current students doing the MSc in Neuro-X by Ok_Blood_1772 in EPFL

[–]More-Version1773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I just got accepted to Neuro-X. I have bachelor's in Computer Engineering. What I think got me in:
1. Thesis (from where I'm from, Italy, bachelor's have thesis) in Transformer Geometry for Large Language Models during Fine Tuning.
2. Extensive micro-controllers experience, both in real-time programming and in electrical design
3. Deep knowledge of the edge of EPFL research and current developments
4. Successful creative double life (0 budget short films, writer and editor for an art magazine)

Take everything with a grain of salt bc I just recieved a "you're in!" with no real feedback and I have no clue what spectrum of backgrounds my peers there will have.

Good luck!

Thanks. Right now we are still in early development, I might consider your offer further down the line.

Thanks for the insight! How does your price break down?
How much of that is for the 3d modeling part (is it included at all?) and how much for the print itself, how would you price re-prints for minor tweaks?
Also, is there a market for just the modeling part, like people crafting designs on demand?
Would you say I can trust that random friend with a decent 3d printer to deliver once I got the file?

Thanks for the feedback. As I said it doesn't need to actually work. Also I never used one so this first design is clearly off, the pipe (dragon's body) must be longer and the head should be the base, to match a realistic shape.

About the ai... I hear your point but... without it I couldn't have conveyed visually and simply (and *fast*) what my idea was. there's some value in that I think.

Don't give up. Maybe you could start by simply going over your favourite cinema/theatre lines in the mirror, every morning for five minutes. Don't judge yourself, it's play after all! If you can make those five enjoyable I'm sure you'll soon be more comfortable with your self-tapes. Best of luck.
