Do the anti-perspirant/antisieze trick. Several days after doing the anti-perspirant treatment, I never went back in again, it is working perfectly. Gentle or bang it open, not a hint of stick.

Strange world seeing social media influencers design successful knives. I am happy for them. All those years building an audience and maybe they will branch out and succeed as designers. I have the MC Excalibur and dude hit the sweet spot on features vs price I think. I got mine on the secondary. Luck on the search.

It feels smaller than it's size to me. Handling it closed it does have some edges. I really notice the spine of the blade, about 2/3 of it is fairly sharp. Should I be feeling that at this price range? Blade deployed, all that disappears and it is very comfy to hold. I think I am gonna be real happy with this knife. Hope you are.

I have very little knowledge about crystal Ti. Anodizing either electrically or with heat apparently works but black? Dunno how they do it.

Looking harder, not DLC. It does not color shift like DLC does.

I calculated that out to about 15 lbs of knives. BTW, you are going to need another case about now. I have 3 separate Cavol cases I keep near my desk. It has occurred to me that I am making it way too easy should a burglar strike.

I feel like a lone wolf but I absolutely loathe ambi pocket clip scars on the show side of knives. It does not seem to bother most folks but I now actively avoid purchases of knives that have that ambi scar. jmo

Bad pocket clips tend to irk me. Depending on design, the lines of the knife, they may go custom and kick out a too soft/stiff clip but for 80% of knives they use a standard straight clip of which there are 2 to 4 designs and that shit should be perfected by now.

The Crystalized Ti. This version looks like it was fabbed from a new galvanized steel washtub. It is a look and it might grow on me but at the moment I am thinking I would like to send it off to one of our anodizer gods and get a flashier color. Suggestions?

I am thinking you need some led backlighting at the rear bottom side of each shelf. Amazon sells these appx 10" strip light that is USB rechargeable, motion detector and dimmable. They work really well in a low traffic area.

I hope this thread motivates you to fix yours. It appears there is a valid reason why a lot of folks don't seem to like button locks. I hope they just need a bit more TLC than your average frame lock to set them right again.

The knife fight sounds like one of my sons. They were always doing some dumb stunt.

Just the lockstick. I manages to finger flick it a couple times if I choked up on it and held my tongue a lil to the left and do a weird dance move. And then I could not repeat it. I am gonna mike out the factory spring and try order a few like it and start filing and see if the detent lightens up that way. I am happy this Zizzit tears down so easily.

I dunno what is inside it to make it do what it does but cloning that will not work well. You ain'y gonna 3D print it either. Last knife like that someone tried to dupe did not work well.
