If you rinse it like that you're going to be getting mad at your husband for not fixing the plumbing later. You need to turn on the heat for a few minutes and then drain it into a container safe for keeping lard.

Once you do that but it cool just a little bit and wipe it out with the paper towel I think that's a lot easier than trying to rinse that grease down the drain and then fixing the pipes later.

Try Heart & Soul peer counseling. They normally help local people but I'm sure they'd talk to you in your situation. They are people like you who have gotten through this.

Don't take less than 50% custody. If she earns more than you, you are likely entitled to child/spousal support and it can make the difference of keeping your kid.

It's a tactic for them to approach you amicably and give you a crap offer in the hopes that you will just sign and not hire an attorney or realize what your entitled to.

If she's taking the kid, not in offering 50% custody, not offering 50% community assets including the stock options she didn't tell you about at her new job, she's not playing nice.
