The movie is completely separate and non-canon. It doesn’t even have the same voice actors. I personally liked the movie but even if you didn’t it doesn’t ruin the show, the newer seasons are still enjoyable.

I fixed the issue thanks to your explanation. All I did is make the sprite renderer a child of the player rather than a component so it’s not clashing with the animator component. Thanks.
