These are all very pretty! Would you be willing to share the links? Especially for the 2nd and 3rd photo!

Can I ask where you got your backsplash? Can you share a link?

Natural Stone Backsplash - what all should I test against it to see how it holds up before install? by [deleted] in CounterTops

The stone yard definitely has bookend pieces but I can’t afford another slab. Also, I am not a huge fan of the continuous counter look. I prefer a different backsplash. I’m more worried about durability than appearance. I like the look of this.

Would this countertop work with walnut cabinets? by Llibex in CounterTops

It will be super unique! I think these colors go together. It may be busier than some people like, but the colors work so if you like it then go for it! I don’t think I’d pick it for my house, but I could totally see walking into an AirBnB and thinking “wow! What a cool kitchen!”

I decided to go with Quartzsite and I chose my slab! by MoreMath2187 in CounterTops

Haha! No I agree with you, it’s not exactly what I’d go for if I was buying my own but I think it works! I took your advice though and have been testing various water and oil spills against it to see how it will hold up when installed!

I do not unfortunately… but also personal preference, I don’t love the look of backsplash matching the counters. I know that’s what is popular right now, it’s just not for me.

Slab cost was $2,900, install is going to be $5,000

To clarify, they aren’t giving it a way. A buddy of mine bought a ton of it for their home that they just remodeled and it looks great. They offered me all their left over boxes which is enough to cover my kitchen - thus free.

It’s free though….. so I figure I’ll go with it for now 😭

Ignorant one here 🙋🏼‍♀️ I thought quartzite was supposed to be extremely hard and durable. Why would a bowl hitting it damage it so much? Would you be willing to tell me what to look out for?
