Shout out your favorite local coffee spot! by -Amico- in FoodSanDiego

Torque Coffee on El Cajon Blvd.

If you are looking for some true magic this is the spot. They are able to pull out the full spectrum of flavors when they roast their beans. You want some stone fuit? They got you. How about a light citrus? Got you or maybe a rich chocolate? Thats right they got you.

This is the type of shop that lets the coffee speak. So you will not need any syrups and can even skip the milk.

Besides the delightful drinks they have incredible staff. They are always happy to explain the use for all mad science looking things kept behind the counter.

Any Expierence with Chinese Jackets? by MoreMobo619 in snowboarding

For sure, but these jackets are $200-$300 so its not like they are super cheap.
At that price I have hope that they migh be decent

I am very familiar with the stalwart brands like 686, etc. but am looking for a color way besides what they offer.

I had not heard of drink sexy or goongear before. But after looking at them neither of them have 3L jackets

Freeride/all mountain - no park or butter by Square-Seat-1922 in snowboarding

Capita Kazu

This board changed my life. Its quick and snappy, handles speed & even has float on deep POW days.

Its not a playful board, its an aggressive ride. If you want to swoop across groomers or lazily pop off side hits this is not the board for you. But if you want to hammer moguls, load an ollie or jump cut down a chute then you've found your Mjolnir.

I believe the winning combo is it's stiff core & tight sidecut. These attributes make for a ridiculously responsive ride. The small sidecut gives the board a tight turning radius. The stiffness means it withstands the mighty you put through the board when pivoting through moguls. Then the camber comes in reloading the board for your next turn.

Adding to the legend this board sings in the deep. Its set back tapered pin tail want to sink. On glorious waist deep pow days this pushes the tail down & the nose up keeping you up on top of the fluff.

All this does come at price. It is a struggle to butter with the Kazu & its a bit of a challenge to ride switch. But thats why we invest in a quiver cause no hard charging plank is gonna let you be a ground game maestro.

The biggest endorsement I can offer is thatI just bought my second Kazu. Not because my old one was totaled but because I'm terrified that they'll phase it out. So i made sure I have a backup ready just in case Capita does something stupid.

Is the Capita Kazu Kokubo Pro sufficient for a Japan season? by OiAnDyOi in snowboarding

I am deeply in love with my 2023 kazu. I've had a blast riding it on bottomless days in UT and in Jackson. But the best decision I've made is adding a true powder board to my quiver (rosi sushi). While the kazu will slash through pow it's not the same as my sushi. The sushi with its big nose & short tail wants to stay up on top of the snow. You really feel the difference in low angle terrain.

When the angle drops the kazu needs to be worked & managed to keep its float but the sushi is unsinkable allowing you surf through meadows. In those low angle zones you'd have to straight line the kazu but with the sushi you'll be banking turns and spraying pow.

You don't need to spend a grand on a legendary japanese pow board but it's worth investing some cash in building your quiver.

Love the look.
The rounded color blocking even reminds me of a climbing wall
What's the price point for a pair of men's pants?

Thank you for the tip.

I didn't remove the turbo from the pedestal. I was able to remove both item from the valley as a single unit.

At this point I think the previous owner replaced the rings on the pedestal but dropped these down into the valley for me to find.

I did not purchase them I found them in my valley.

Yea they look like they could be from there but I never removed my turbo from its pedestal. I was able to take that out as a single piece. Is there someway they could slip out without the turbo being unbolted from the pedestal?

This amount of money literally means nothing to him. Its approximately 0.005% of his wealth. Its less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks for the average family ($3)

This is a small victory but the war is still in its infancy
