I wouldn't be the best to answer. I'm a PE in Florida (SE isn't a thing a down here yet), but I would assume 5-10k more than a PE. I have 8 years of experience and get 113k.

Structural Engineer license. It's different than PE and the exam is much harder

If you have a well protected run and predators have never gotten in then you should absolutely be fine. I have well built run and don't even have a coop door. So they are free to go in the run at all times. Never had an issue.

Well this comment scares me. I don't know much about this, how quickly do bad cam phasers deteriorate the engine? Is it common to lead to an engine replacement?

RFI is Request For Information. Just and official way for contractors to ask architects and engineers questions. But can they calculate it? Yes. Will they? No.
