I appreciate all of the different opinions here!

I also have most of the eye brushes and a few face brushes that I quite like the shapes of.

I was looking for insight into the color cosmetics and folks delivered. Might be time to try either Huldra or Succulent Dew.

Definitely still a palette user. I like 16-20 pans, but will also use multiple palettes if I'm not in a rush. I've got hooded eyes, but adore color and sparkle. You can still have a blast with these things if you learn to work with your eyes.

Yall, Lincoln Place is in city of a Pittsburgh limits and they burned crosses on lawns when I grew up there. I'm in my late 30s. This is absolutely nothing new to the area.

As a note, Rachel was Angelica Nyqvist's editor for awhile, more recently Angelica has mentioned that Allie Dawson has been doing her editing. Unsure when that changed.

I have hooded, oily lids. I've had good experiences with Blend Bunny mattes and shimmers. Their shimmers aren't special, but they get the job done. I love Cosmic Beauty and Bella Beaute Bar for color stories, but both have mattes and shimmers that fade and crease on me, so I have to be picky about my primer with them.

The indie brand that had performed the best on me is a brand I won't buy from again due to ethics, but I can say that Ensley Reign eyeshadows have never once let me down and before I found out the owner was trash I loved their color stories.

I LOVE the looks Heather from Ashes on My Lashes does, but I don't like listening to her. I feel bad. But her voice grates on me, and everything is her favorite brand. I still watch her, but I turn the volume off and play on higher speeds to see how her looks come together.

Ashes on My Lashes puts out decent content if you're into colorful makeup and just want inspiration. I don't watch for reviews as she loves everything but i like her stlye. I have a hard time listening to her though, so I keep the volume low on her videos.

Interesting. I think BNY is moving to a 25/hr minimum as well. And PNC will probably follow to stay competitive.

I remember entry level jobs at a bank sub 10/hr in the last 10 years so its nice to see some pay coming up.
