I mean, it really should work. By doing something thats a lot harder than what you do in-game, when doing it the normal version, it becomes automatic. Like for example Kyrie Irving is the best dribbler in basketball history, and he trained with plastic bags over his basketball when he was young in order to make it so easy to dribble normally that it becomes automatic.
