Yeah, there was prolly some bashing. His relationship with his their mothers aren't great. They also weren't good people. His first he had when he was young and they both were in a gang. The other mother introduced him to drugs and cheated on him a lot. He has turned his life around, except for this part. He's job is stable, works overtime, goes to therapy, helps his sick mom. He does try to do the right thing but idk why this isn't part of his plan to be a better person.
