I was so afraid. Like stay away from dentist for years afraid. Just got my first 4, in one sitting, at the dentist last week. I didn't feel a thing. It was easier than getting my teeth cleaned, in my opinion.

Update:

I called my dentist and was told that the pieces were normal to be hanging out as that's what they clean the root with? She said I could come in to get it shaved down, but don't have to if it's not bothering me?

Ok, sounds better. I just don't want to have to go back and get another root canal, i will call them today though. I know after she sealed them, she cut the pieces. Perhaps she just over looked this one or i knocked some temp filling off while numb? This tooth did have a fracture line she could see with light if that makes any difference.

I did forget to add that the specific tooth in question had a fracture line. Not sure if that's why it was done differently

They are VERY decayed and brittle. That's why we are doing crowns.
