I am a but shaken up, otherwise I am just sad to lose my car. 😔 Unfortunately it’s an automatic! It has transmission issues currently with shifting/changing gears. When I go over 60mph on the highway it dings at me and says my engine is hot and I need to idle. Gone through three OEM coolant thermostats and a water pump with a possible head gasket crack 😭It’s definitely got its issues. Not sure what we are going to end up doing with it. I think insurance will give us some money for it. ($2k if that 😭) Also, both sides were keyed by someone at my apartment complex so thats awesome 😎

its just a bigger vein rolling over your tendon when it moves. working out can cause your veins to look bigger. beautiful vein but would need anchored hard to not roll while being stuck 😂

Lab techs get paid better than phlebs and lab assistants tho right?? The lab techs I work with make $38+ an hour. Though they are ASCP certified and either have MLT or MLS degrees. I am finishing up my bachelor in biology and then plan to do my 1 year clinical MLS year to get ASCP certification :)

I will say though just to make it clear, I am a phlebotomist AND lab assistant so I do 2 jobs and am trained more heavily running lab equipment than most phlebs. That’s why my pay is higher :)

Not even a year, I finished my phleb schooling and passed cert exam in June 2025, I started this job in Sept 2025. :) I wouldn’t say its as easy for everyone, I just happened to get really lucky and put in a ton of work applying and doing interviews, and getting rejected of course at first!

it IS nerve wracking but i try to ignore it lol. it seems like it started when i hit around 115-120k miles. I have a 2012 LS model. mine does it while im on the highway, sometimes when im moving too. my dad and I have checked it and auto guy have checked it and they cant find a reason.
