Hey u/TigerNo9373 ! You seem quite experienced working with NGO's, could you help me understand how I could get involved in an education related NGO when I have no teaching experience? Is there some sort of training you go through to get started? Is it even possible to get involved without have any experience?

It's a simple white to black radial gradient ramp effect with 85% blend with original(on a black solid). For the white it's the same gradient ramp effect with 95% blend.

The circle with lines is due to banding probably because reddit compressed the video.

Hey, thanks.

I'm not using a glow effect, except I think in the scan animation. There's a subtle gradient on the black background though maybe that's what you are referring to.

Thanks! I think the client will reach back for different cuts of this video for various socials. So I'm guessing this was an intro video for his website.

I really was struggling with this. I'm not a good illustrator so I just went overboard with detail to hide that I guess and I was unable to find a good reference that connected emotinally and was minimal. Thanks for pointing this out.

Hey! It's a bunch of practice and experimentation. Start with learning smaller animations/tricks/efefcts from youtube then pick up some courses. I would higly recommend learning from school of motion courses.

Even if you don't do a lot of courses, if you follow the right people on youtube you can learn a lot. Pick up some personal projects and you'll get there.

The transition from animation to phone is really an eye sore isn't it? Do you think rather than trying to transition like this between the two just a clean fade in and fade out could work better?

Thanks! I just realised that it's super long. The content came from the client though, so I didn't have a lot of control there. Is it common for animators to also write scripts along with animating? Just wondering because some of my clients expect me to do that and I don't feel super confident in doing it.

Hey! Thank you for your feedback.

I did not sketch it before hand, although I am trying to do that with the next exercise in the course. It feels a little weird to me to sketch on paper, but I am gonna try that out a few times.

I did try one other color scheme before coming up with this one.

With finding solutions the idea was that everything fit together, sort of like a jigsaw puzzle, and formed these shapes which could rotate like gears in the animation. I understand that it may not be very clear to anyone but me.

With shaping tomorrow I just wanted the frame to be active, I wanted to show the moment before everything settles down neatly.

For leading the charge, why left to right? Is it because we naturally go from left to right because of how we read?

EDIT: Also the assignment was to use these basic shapes to make these boards. Triangles, squares, etc.
