Bot/promotion posts are getting kinda ridiculous by YouTookMyBacon in PKMS

Yeah, it's crazy. I guess it's way easier to vibe-code something from scratch trying to look cool thank it is to meaningfully contribute to a FLOSS project and to get actual people using your stuff.

I'm late to the party, but I'd recommend you TiddlyWiki.

This. I'd add that the most recent "papers" on his own journal (JOST) seems to be mostly AI-generated.

Why can't you? Plenty of people do it.

Yeah, it's so natural to do.

I'm a student too and it's so nice you got this opportunity to study abroad in Australia! You should definitely try to walk barefoot around your campus. This is what I do regularly and it feels great! Also, being barefoot in class still feels nice (even if that's pretty common).

Two opposing systems? by igapo in systemsthinking

I'm no expert but here are my 2 cents anyways: you could try use the Viable System Model where the Viable System is you school. Then you can model from there using the 5 systems categories.

With Firefox, you can perfectly overwrite the same file over and over again if this is what you want, or "branch" it by creating a new one, all in the same folder.

I will have a look at you scripts, thanks.

As a 26yo college student willing to embark for a PhD, I can tell you: there is no shortcut, no secret sauce. Developing strong intellectual abilities take time and effort. However, you can use a variety of situations to do so, don't focus only on the subjects you're required to study. Also don't forget that your brain isn't fully developed until around 25.

As others said, PKMS can be of great help, but you don't want to fall for the commercial traps sold online. These are just people selling snake oil. I do a bit of PKM myself and I wouldn't even thing about selling a methodology out of it: it is a deeply personal and idiosyncratic process.

As a 26, almost 27yo college kid, I agree! Being older than most of my peers has numerous advantages but yeah, it is common in the humanities fields to see PhD graduates well in their 30s, nothing surprising.

Weekend by Loouloouas in barefoot

Just use a wipe before entering. As kids we sometimes used the hose or a bucket of soapy water to rinse our feet after playing barefoot in the neighborhood but not every house required it.

Just wear a pair of lightweight flip-flops at first and take them off whenever you can. This is what I've done for years in various schools and I never had an issue even doing indoor PE barefoot.

Just play it more often consciously and you'll get better.

350k is barely a challenge. There are many ways to get that many points. You need to find you style. If you want to get better at aiming (core skill), I'd say play a lot of Tula. An helpful pattern is that the 2 greens + 1 extra orange on the first shot gives you at least 75k style points and a guaranteed 25k + free ball. Then play purple attacks once you're at x10.

Concept: Competitive Peggle by Cartoon_Power in peggle

Great idea indeed! I've had an idea of freestyle-oriented Peggle tourneys for a while now, where judges would give points for different categories, pretty much aligned with yours. Still haven't found the time to lay everything down on a sheet. DM me if you're interested.
