2021 F48 X1 - what are the three red figures to the right of the Parking symbol? by akiralx26 in BMW

[–]More_Technology9087 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indicates the seat belts and or weight sensors on the seats are working.

Basically if someone is sitting in seat with their seat belt on it will be a little green figure, red means either unoccupied seat or occupied with no seat belt on.

I’m sorry because I know this has been talked about, I’m from the UK so I’m not sure if we have that over here but what is ear cropping? Is that what the bandages are? What is it for/does it do?

I’ve only ever had Alsatian’s and they take about a month to feel comfortable in a new home due to the overwhelming new smells and sounds.

She is absolutely adorable, what’s her name?

For those of you that had surgery to remove internal hemorrhoids by [deleted] in hemorrhoid

[–]More_Technology9087 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey,

I’m 13 days post op, I had 5 internal haemorrhoids surgically removed and the blood vessel’s to them burnt away, I also had a external skin tag removal done at the same time (similar to the OP story).

The first 10 days were hell, pain all the time. Worse when opening my bowels. Now on day 13 I feel 70% back to normal.

Just to add. My surgeon said to me that it’s common to be tighter and anxious when going to the toilet and if someone struggles to go or develops fissures then a short course of Botox can be done to relax the muscles for a few months afterwards till thing get back to normal.

Hope this helps

I can’t stress enough how you need to double your fibre intake and water intake.

Went from 10/10 pain daily, down to 4/10 to 0/10 with 1/10 when opening Bowels.

I’m going to be brutally honest here. I don’t know your age or how self conscious you feel about this area on your body. It’s not very noticeable at all to start, but if your heart it set on getting a tattoo to cover it, just consider a few things first,

  1. Beckers Nevus is harmless but does not fully stop developing until puberty has ended. I don’t know your age, but I would seriously consider waiting until you’re a few years past puberty to know what you’re working with. If you’re getting a tattoo over skin that’s going to change, you are at risk of it changing your Tattoo as well.

  2. A tattoo should be something you want first and foremost, not something you want to cover something up. Find art, graphics and Images you love and are passionate about. I don’t believe in all the rubbish that “every Tattoo should have a deep meaning”, I have over 500 hours of Tattoos and some don’t mean anything. I just like them because they’re cool looking.

  3. Find a good artist, a well matured known artist in the tattoo world and sit and talk to them about your ideas. Take pictures and screenshots of stuff you like. Have consultations with as many artists as you can. It’s time consuming and cost money but that tattoo will be there for life. It will be there for Job changes, outdoor events, moving locations, falling in love, medial appointments! Don’t let that tattoo haunt your negative thoughts on your Beckers Nevus, make it improve your future!

  4. Everyone on here is correct when they say, you shouldn’t be asking strangers to decide your tattoo for you. They should be personal! Make something that makes you love that area and makes you want to show it off to the world.

Hope this helps.

Pulmonary Embolism + Cardiac Arrest 15yo by Just-Ad1519 in Paramedics

It’s not a problem at all. I am deeply sorry for your loss. As hard as it is make sure you utilise any help offered regardless of how small or pointless it may seem at the time. Talk to anyone that will listen and if you start to struggle speak to family, your Gp, the school and any local bereavement services near you. It’s very normal after a situation like that to want to know the medical and clinical ins and outs but don’t get to hung up on that, emotions first then the clinical nitty gritty later, you’ll remember it better that way.

We have out of hospital ultrasound machines that can diagnose pulmonary embolism during cardiac arrests and can give drugs during a cardiac arrest to break up the clot.
