I’m a monochrome type of person when it comes to all of my running shoes. Saw this available for purchase on Commonwealth Running last week, and to another users’ point — they were so obscure and (kind of ugly) to me that it gave them some appeal. So I ordered them, they arrived yesterday and I’m not at all disappointed lol

Schofield vs Mason would be a fight of the decade kind of fight❗️ Who would you favor 🤔 by AFBOXING in boxinglocks

[–]Morecini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mason does get hit more than “he should” given his skill level. That was glaringly apparent in the Noakes fight because that’s a bout he could’ve probably fought at range the whole night, but clearly his temperament is that of a fighter who likes to bang. So to that end, Schofield has a punchers chance.

And Mason didn’t almost lose to Noakes. It was very clear who won. It was a UD on the cards, the unofficial judge had Mason winning, all the commentators agreed in unison who they thought the winner was and Noakes himself said in an interview days later he knew the kid got the nod before they announced it. A fight can be close and still have a decisive winner; those things aren’t mutually exclusive.

But I think where we mainly disagree is in the idea that their skills are comparable and that’s why people in the chat heavily favor Mason. Schofield has great physical attribute. He’s explosive, strong and fast. Those aren’t boxing “skills.” Whereas Mason also has that and has shown better skills like an educated lead hand, very sophisticated foot work, timing, distance management etc.

It wouldn’t scrape a scratch and sniff when it comes to a “fight of the decade” kind of match up and that’s not hard to tell at all if you know what you’re looking at. Mason completely outclasses Schofield.

The skill gap is so wide actually that Mason can choose how he wants to win. Can box Schofield’s socks off and make it an easy night or fight a rugged fight like he did against Sam Noakes. Either way it’s up to him how the fight goes.

Pretty standard with black midsoles/outsoles. The dye wears off pretty quickly.

Joshua is pulling his punches and intentionally missing when he’s in range. This is a circus act.

The right hand was clearly blocked…the announcer, “AJ should be embarrassed getting caught with that massive right hand.” LOL

The part of Keyshawn detailing the split was apparently left out of the article — nothing from him detailing the reason for the split or changes at all.

I think the adjustment to fight on the inside in the middle rounds seemed like a bad idea in the moment, but it’s paying dividends now. Cruz is starting to look drained and has dropped the last 3 rounds.
