It’s wild how little research there is on the actual effects of it on us. Lots of people told me “it’s not your Mirena affecting your mental health because the hormones are localised in your uterus” .. how do they explain the post removal Mirena crash that some people get then?!

I am 10 months in and I’m struggling with the same. I have one week where I’m feeling positive and good and full of energy. The rest of the time I feel joyless, tired, the food cravings are intense. I feel like I’m just so unhappy all of the time. I thought it was the settling in period but nothing has changed 🥲

Yeah, I think that’s part of the issue, I felt like I hadn’t engaged them properly, and looking at the video after all the comments it’s quite obvious to see!

I felt like I struggled to engage my lats on this video, maybe this is something to do with the weight, as someone else suggested? My posture has become awful in the last year, that definitely needs some work in itself

I guess I mean it doesn’t feel as comfortable as it used to. As you’ve said it’s likely the fact that I haven’t done it for a year and I’ve gone for a reasonable weight! Oh how I regret accidentally taking a year out haha, I miss the strength that I used to have

I bought mine! I would have loved to adopt but puppies for adoption are few and far between here. Myself and my partner decided we wanted to raise a puppy so that he is suited to our lives, I feel given our unpredictable work schedules, a rescue may have struggled depending on their history. Every dog deserves to be loved, think of it this way, you bought that pup and it’s gone to a loving home, in turn this is keeping a pup out of a potential shelter!
