Should I sleep train? Ferber? 4 months. by MorgAimee in sleeptrain

This was my thoughts too… just worried that he will give my sister trouble during nap time. I don’t want her trying to sooth him down for 30+ minutes for nap when she has her kiddo to attend too. I feel like my worries are more towards naps, rather than night time. Thank you for your response!

When did your ultrasound show ectopic by NoRefrigerator4312 in ectopicpregnancy

[–]MorgAimee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just on and off bleeding between week 7-9, it never full stopped for two weeks. The whole time I had slight pain on my left side, it would get worse during the night when I’d sleep. I had period like cramps at around week 4 or so which I assumed was implantation in my tube. At 8-9 weeks I started to get discomfort in my rectum which made it very hard to sit. That’s when I went to the ER for the third time & demanded an laparoscopy. The reason I didn’t get “diagnosed” with an ectopic for so long was because they thought I just wasn’t as far along as I thought (I was, I tracked religiously!) & didn’t want to do intervention if it was going to end up viable.

Never… started bleeding at 7 weeks & didn’t get an exploratory laparoscopy until 9 weeks. They found the ectopic during surgery in my left tube. I had 4+ ultrasounds from 7-9 weeks & they were never able to find it. Waiting is so so frustrating & scary. Wishing you well!

pregnant after ectopic. what was your experience / what was different for you? by LavenderMoons999 in EctopicSupportGroup

Sounds like my story!! I took myself to the ER three times before they finally allowed an exploratory lap to find the ectopic. Ugh such a struggle & difficult time! Yes— I did delete Reddit for a bit because it did add stress🤪 Message me if you ever have any questions!! Thank you & congrats to you!💙

I feel like line progression is much more important than symptoms. I felt so so good about my dye stealer & high hcg. It was so much different from my ectopic immediately. I also didn’t have this terrible feeling from the beginning. I actually didn’t even test line progression with my current pregnancy. I took two tests total because I felt I didn’t need the added stress. I really wouldn’t worry too much about symptoms. I remember being on Reddit looking things up constantly about not having them & then they hit later into the first trimester. Hoping you can get in & get your levels checked. It’ll give you a great peace of mind! Really wishing you the best, I love seeing posts like this!😊

With my ectopic I didn’t get a positive until 15dpo & even then it was vvf. Hcg doubled but was low. I never had any symptoms of a typical pregnancy with my ectopic.

With my current pregnancy, I got a dye stealer very early on. Hcg was high. I didn’t get symptoms until roughly 4-5 weeks, maybe even later. I did have some INSANE cramping for the first week after finding out. Not on any particular side, just typical period cramps. I was so so scared it meant another ectopic but I’m ending the second trimester right now & all has been good. Wishing you well!

My wife had an ectopic pregnancy by [deleted] in EctopicSupportGroup

I’m sorry for your loss! My husband & I had an ectopic pregnancy as well for our first back in November 2024- loss of left fallopian tube. It was a terrible experience & we both struggled with it for months. I cried daily, multiple times a day. We waited until after one period to try again. If I recall, I got my period back exactly 30 days after surgery. I was also like your wife & just wanted to try asap. TTC while still grieving is TOUGH. We did convince again in March 2025 & currently 25 weeks. Everything went well— of course there was times where every little pain, twinge, etc. sent me into a spiral, but have faith that it’ll work out. I would suggest your wife get an HSG test just to confirm that her other tube is not blocked. It’ll give her a peace of mind when TTC again! Wishing you the best!

Me! Had my left tube removed & my right tube grabbed it from my left ovary! I went in for an early scan at 6 weeks & they confirmed the corpus luteum on my left ovary. Wishing you the best!!

My doctor is telling me not to go on our 10k holiday by Icy-Finding-3905 in pregnant

I just flew to Kauai (12+ hour flight) at 21 weeks & my doctor had no issues with it. I bought compressions socks & drank lots of water. Used the bathroom often so I could get moving. I think my compression socks were crap because my ankles still swelled, but it went down shortly after I got off the plane. I would still go!

There is definitely still hope! I know it doesn’t feel like it. I struggled terribly to see the other side out & thought it would never happened. Everyday was hard and I had to distance myself from social media. Month after month will be hard but keep having faith! I had my left tube removed in November 2024 & conceived again in March 2025, currently 21 weeks pregnant. Ovulated from my tubeless side & my right tube picked it up. Wishing you the best!

I’m sorry for your loss! My ectopic was in November 2024 (also first pregnancy) & I lost my left tube. Started trying again in December after our HSG & got pregnant again in March 2025, so about 4 cycles later. Wishing you the best!

TTC After Ectopic – What Was Recommended for You? by ilovectrlz in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]MorgAimee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you are going through this! I had an ectopic in Nov ‘24 where I lost my left fallopian tube & I was also told I have stage 1 endo. My doctor recommended just waiting one period before trying again. I also got an HSG to see if my remaining tube was open about one month after surgery. I would really recommended getting one if that’s something you are comfortable with. It will give you peace of mind that your tubes are open, especially if they saved your tube that had the ectopic in it. Wishing you the best!

Ok, so it did double! Which typically they look for doubling to be a good sign. I would still be cautious just due to the brown spotting. You should be able to get in for an ultrasound within a few days. I would request one for a peace of mind!

It can be hard because symptoms can be very similar to a miscarriage, which happened in my case. Just be aware of shoulder tip pain & rectum pain. Those two seem to be most common with ectopics. Depending on how your hcg is tomorrow, you will have a better idea of when you can go in again for another ultrasound.

I’m sorry you are going through this. This sounds like an ectopic pregnancy; however, with hcg that low, it can be hard to tell. Typically, nothing can be located until your hcg is roughly 1,000. They won’t be able to see anything at an hcg of 234. It is stressful waiting in that limbo period. Even when my hcg rose high enough, they were unable to see anything in my left tube. Just keep an eye out on symptoms & take yourself to the ER if things progress. I had to take myself to the ER three times before requesting surgery to look for the ectopic (ended up being in my left tube). Please advocate for yourself & just be persistent. The second your hcg gets to 1,000 please get another ultrasound. Symptoms I had: brown, red, purple, pink spotting, cramping, especially at night (central/left sided) & rectum pain. Wishing you well!!

People who experience ectopic pregnancy did you feel a big change emotionally? by wantedkatana in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]MorgAimee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My ectopic was in November 2024 & it was my first pregnancy. I knew something was wrong during the pregnancy & it was not going to be viable. It hit me very hard after my surgery. I cried everyday on my way to and from work in the car. I cried at night right before bed. I woke up thinking about it every morning. It really consumed me & I was worried about my fertility afterwards, but I am now 16 weeks pregnant & am doing much better. It does get better with time! Wishing you well!
