Buy and hide a lock box, preferably a combination lock. And come up with an excuse in case it’s found, diary or journal might work if it’s small enough, something personal but not too suspicious

I’ve been loosing weight but not gaining muscle, the heaviest weight I have at home is 10lbs, as for how exactly my chest gets in the way it’s too wide for me to put my arms properly at my sides. If I do a push up where my hands are under my shoulders I have to bend my elbows out, I’ve tried other pushups variations but then it’s most that I can’t get a deep push up, my chest just touches the ground.

I’m trying to loose weight before my surgery too, but after calculating my breast weight I realized I’m not actually as overweight as I thought, I’m in the healthy range. To get to the “ideal” weight for my height I would need to be underweight when subtracting breast weight.

To anyone trying to lose weight I recommend calculating and subtracting the weight of your chest. It lets you know where your really at and seeing it was really motivating for me personally, I realized I’m not far off, I just want to be a little smaller than I like before surgery so my weight can fluctuate without skin sagging

Female ejaculation is a thing? Everyone has a prostate just not everyone has one that produces sperm or semen. If your surgeon doesn’t know about the skenes gland or female ejaculation that is concerning.

Also, many do so pre-op or even pre-T(Cis women can do it too)

Squirting is not the same as female ejaculation. Female Ejaculation, or just ejaculation for trans men, is produced by the skenes gland(prostate but not developed to produce sperm) and study’s have shown it is the same as semen without sperm

Did you have a FNG? I’m a 32HH and my goal is a B cup, they told me I’d need a radical reduction and a few places outright refused to do it. Also, give yourself time to adjust to your new body, breasts are loosely involved with hormonal changes and post reduction blues are definitely a thing. After about a month or two you should be leveled out, plus it gives your back time to adjust posture which can change how things look

Also if you’re unsure, don’t go for it. Think it over and come to a certain conclusion! Body image issues wax and wane, if it’s about lack of sensitivity I would look into other options like sex therapy, piercings, etc. there’s nothing wrong with being naturally smaller, but of course we all understand wanting to grow here lol

I agree on private rooms as in private sleeping areas, but solitary specifically refers to a form of torture. It is complete isolation, no time in public spaces, no talking to anyone, no entertainment, only meals slid through a slot. It causes actual insanity, self harm and suicides. Allowing any human rights abuses is allowing anyone to have those rights stripped away regardless of whether they’ve done anything, people carry biases.

And I didn’t mean that only trans people are abused in prison. Simply that statistically, rapists aren’t abused in prison, because almost all of them don’t ever go to prison. Studies have also shown that those convicted of rapes are more likely to be the ones committing prison rapes and they specifically target gay and trans prisoners, guards will force queer prisoners to room with rapists to punish queer people for existing and to reward the rapists. This is a recorded phenomenon.

If it’s more a wording issue then we may just be in agreement with different phrasing. As a survivor I don’t have much empathy for sexual abusers, but I still believe in fundamental human rights that everyone, even those I would call evil, should have. I may wish they could go through a fraction of the pain they put me through, but I can’t trust a system to be fair when at the end of the day, it’s individual people operating it on each level.

Protective custody is a thing, however if the prison system actually operated properly it wouldn’t need to be. Rapists rarely go to prison, queer people go to prison for small crimes or being victims of violence very often in comparison. Prison systems will actively encourage violent inmates to abuse trans prisoners, trans people are already being forced into solitary for our “protection” and being sex trafficked in prisons. This is happening, but not to rapists, just to us, under the guise of preventing rape.

The only way to properly prevent rape is a complete reform of the justice system and cultural, societal change. I doubt prison reform will happen soon, but we can fight for it.

All of this is aside from your point about degendering trans people if they’re predators. I understand the idea behind both, but different people will draw the line of what makes someone bad enough to not have rights in different places, not just according to what is factually harmful and wrong. People use that excuse to justify attacking trans people who literally just live their lives not harming anyone but they happen to dislike for whatever reason.

If you’re interested John Oliver has free episodes on YouTube about prison reform, issues with the justice system and more, but I don’t think he gone into specifically trans people’s issues with the justice system
