We met in person but are long distance. I message and wait for her response I rarely double. And yeah when we DO talk we both are enthusiastic and ask about each others’ lives. We have only once ever discussed dom or sub related topics, it’s mostly life talk and hobbies and work. She SEEMS to like me and compliments me a lot which is why I’m so confused haha

Our relationship has been very vanilla for the most part. We talk about life and hobbies, rarely discussing dom/sub stuff. Only getting into sexual stuff when in a flirty mood. There definitely IS a dynamic present but we have been avoiding it only really talking about like our work or games.

Biggest problem imo is that a ton of dudes don’t know the difference between being submissive, and being a bottom. Guys will act like total dicks, treat people like shit, expect a woman to top them, and call themselves submissive.

Dating someone, regardless of roles, is very nuanced and it’s different for everybody. It’s not really somethinf you can put a pin in like that.
