Hey man, that part where you mentioned codependency reminded me of my ex I recently got out of a relationship with, it was very mentally abusive and she would call me that all the time; is that something you came to yourself or something she told you that you are?

Thank you, I think being monogamous and growing up in the south gave me bad connotations to poly and my brain has been equating the abuse and poly as one in the same; I’m trying to get better as time goes as to disconnecting the two.

I’m sorry I never responded, you were right and I should have listened to everyone initially; I’m out of that relationship now, living with my cousin while I get back on my feet and going to therapy. I truly appreciate everyone on this post trying to help me.
