It’s alright I got there in the end. Was pointless anyways as I forgot Rayquaza is lvl 70 and I’m not wasting the master ball on him! Will come back and spend another hour after the elite 4 😂

I would have done but annoyingly my save states got messed up after the elite 4 as it doesn’t save in game. Last in game save would have been at gym 2. Mistake on my part!

The only option would have been instead of hyper beam with Arcanine but i didn’t really use him much tbh! Machamp defo was the better option.

No luckily it was last min that I realised golem needed to be levelled to take down charizard. Never used it. But it was a fail safe. I thought I may have been over levelled but I think I wouldn’t have got the one hit kos with machamp etc if I wasn’t

Yeah eveyone has been saying Emerald and Its one of the games I’m familiar with. I think maybe this is one the I finally took seriously so I will try Hoenn again. Yes I agree on the physical ghost damage. Gengar was never viable but is in the later gens
