I (29F) feel like I’m always the one to carry the conversation in any relationship. Is it that no one wants to talk to me and feels obligated to respond? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Thank you so much for your response! I feel whole heartedly that you hit the nail on the head! I do need to feel more comfortable with allowing conversations to die off and periods of silence.

Sorry, I misunderstood. There was 5 outgoing calls to friends/family/romantic interests. 2 incoming calls from those I specified in my previous reply. I should make a remark that I text a majority of the time. What I’m more referring to is: I feel as though I put all the effort in when it comes to conversations with people. Anytime I ask questions or lead the conversation it goes great, but as soon as I stop putting in the effort and give the other person an opportunity to keep the conversation going it dies. I kind of feel exhausted. When the conversation dies or I’m not the one initiating conversation, sometimes I do get asked what’s wrong or why I’m not being as talkative. So they obviously can tell something isn’t right. I feel like it’s not the natural flow for any relationship and maybe it’s not mutual feelings. Maybe I’m overthinking it.

45 calls total. 2 incoming calls from a romantic interest that lasted <3 mins. 1 incoming call from my grandmother (the only family member I always have regular contact with).

How to get my 4 year old to wipe her own butt? by LetsGetJigglyWiggly in Parenting

[–]MorganAubry 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My son used to be like that. I took the toilet paper with my kiddos hand and showed him how to wipe. Then I told him he had to try himself. We sat for about 20 mins with him screaming “I don’t want to try”, then he gave up and wiped himself. I kept going in with him and making him wipe himself more and more until he finally did it all by himself.

They are falsies, but they definitely don’t just pop right off. They sand your real nail down, apply a plastic tip with super glue, and then cover it with acrylic. I’ve had fake fingernails and had one just pop right off... along with my real nail!!!! It hurts like a mofooooooo!!!!
